Comments:The lesson was complete with Colorado Model Content Standards for reading, writing and communicating, a learning objective,

materials, lesson sequence, student grouping, assessment, expectations and directions, and differentiation. Though you had anobjective to connect text to real life objects, you achieved many other things. I saw objectives for increasing social emotional skillsand following directions. Students were engaged in the learning process. Dawn has great instincts for engaging her group.

Comments:Dawn had obviously established and clearly communicated parameters for student classroom behavior. She used proximity to

keep students on task. Dawn showed an awareness of needs and demonstrated the ability to provide for her exceptional student'sneeds. The lesson activities were related back to the learning target.

Comments:Dawn has so much energy and is dedicated to her students and keeps exploring fresh ways to inspire them. Dawn had the

outcome for the lesson clearly in mind. Her lessons are diverse and she prepares a wide variety of activities for her students. Shewatched the student's interactions and responses and played up the positive.

Comments:Dawn is such a natural as you can see clearly in this lesson I She comes into her student teaching with so much enthusiasm,

determination and heart. She was so entertaining reading her book and the students had so much fun. She moved through thelesson with excellent pacing. She had the students making sounds, looking in the mirror and making their affirmations.
