SERBIAN ASSOCIATION FOR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH

• Serbian Association for Occupational

Safety and Health (SAOSH) is formed as

professional association which gather

experts, engineers, workers

representatives and other persons

professionally oriented at occupational

safety and health system.

The main social activity of the Association

is based on continuous improvement of

occupational safety and health, improving

the working conditions and preserving the

working environment.

Association was registrated on December 21st,2004, as a voluntary, professional, apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit association ofcitizens of Serbia.

The headquarters are located in Kragujevac,Serbia.

Today, the Association gathers more than 500members and has a tendency to spread further.

STRUCTURE

PRESIDENT - President of the Association andchairman of the Managing board. The Presidentand other members of the Managing boardhold office for two years.

ASSEMBLY- The Assembly is the higest organ ofthe Association and it consists of the membersof Association.

MANAGING BOARD - Composed of 13 members,elected by the Assembly for the period of 2years. Oversees general administration mattersand submits policy and other proposals to theGeneral Assembly.

EXECUTIVE BOARD - is the support body ofPresidency and made by the president,vicepresident secretary of the Association andtwo elected members of the Precidency.

SUPERVISORY BOARD - monitors, analyzes andcontrols all activities of Association.

MEMEBERSHIP

Membership in the Association is voluntary. There are three types of membership in the Association:

Individual Membership, Donors and Sponsors, Club of Association.

SECTION FOR IDUSTRIAL HYGIEN- INTENTION

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Organizing of seminars and expert conferences,

Education of its members,

Promotion of occupational safety and health good practice,

Publishing.
