management software suites. Boasting a variety of

configuration, and alarm suppression, the ISM leads you

ISM Device Management Software

� Time saving

The initial configuration of the Oceanspace

storage device can be completed within five

minutes with the help of installation wizard and

default configuration.

Similar configuration operations can be

completed at one time. The task manager is used

to process volume configuration at the

background.

The Java Web Start (JWS) technology enables

system installation to be completed within 15

seconds and system management to be done

anywhere.

The task manager provides a device

management task list and displays the task

status to let you easily capture all information of

the management tasks.

The unique physical view of devices vividly

displays the device status and helps you know

your devices in a graphical way.

The overall information clearly lists the

OceanspaceTM ISM

information about performance, capacity, alarms,

and statistics to simplify your management.

� Interconnecting

The ISM support the SMI-S protocol and can be

interconnected with the storage devices that

support the SMI-S.

The ISM also supports SNMP and provides

northbound interfaces for network management.

ISM Cloud Storage Management Software

� Easy-to-deploy

Cloud storage nodes can be automatically

installed and deployed in batch with the

automated deployment function.

� Easy-to-maintain

The status of cloud storage nodes and a variety

of performance indexes are brought under

monitoring and management.

� Easy-to-upgrade

Volume upgrade is available for cloud storage

nodes. The upgrade procedure is simple and

includes four steps at most, that is, downloading

the upgrade package, checking system health

status before upgrade, upgrading the system,

and rollback which is optional.

Categorized resource management, end-to-end

topology management, classified user

permissions, and monitored storage capacity,

simplify the management.

ISM Storage Network Management Software

The ISM is able to manage a maximum capacity

of 246 PB, shattering the management

The ISM performs uniform management over

all Huawei Symantec storage devices in a

network.

Alarm dumping is implemented every thirty

days.

Log information query is available, facilitating

the operation and maintenance.

The hierarchical topology view makes the
