• These cats are excellent swimmers and climbers.

• Ocelots are extremely rare in the USA found only in southern Texas. They are more common in Central and South America.

• Active mostly at dawn and dusk, these predators ambush prey such as small rodents, opossums and armadillos. Other prey include birds, reptiles, large insects and even vegetation if other food is scarce.
