PROGRAM

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY Agriculture Bridge

Program ScholarshipAssociate of Science with a concentration

in Sustainable Agriculture.

Students are required to : 1. Possess a minimum 2.25 cumulativegrade point average at the conclusionof the junior year in high school.; 2. Enroll in OCtech to Clemson Agri-culture Bridge Program based on acommitment to enroll in Agriculture atClemson University; 3. Complete a scholarship Applicationand submit COMPASS Placementscores or equivalent SAT or ACT scoresthat qualify the student for placementin college level classes; 4. Complete the Federal Applicationfor Student Aid and Lottery Tuition As-sistance.

PROGRAMStudents in the Associate in Science withan emphasis in Sustainable AgricultureProgram have as their primary objectiveeither the transfer of specific courses orthe associate degree in its entirety toClemson University.

Students in this program have guaranteedtransfer credit to the College of Agricul-tural, Forestry, and Life Sciences at Clem-son University. Graduates who meet all ofthe criteria listed below will be acceptedwithout further review of credentials, withjunior standing at Clemson University:

A. The student will have received the Associate of Science Degree with an emphasis in Sustainable Agriculture (2year transfer option) from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.B. The student will have taken all of therequired courses. C. The student’s cumulative grade pointratio must be 2.5 or higher.D. A grade of “C”, or better, is necessaryin all courses applied toward a bachelor’sdegree.

Students who do not wish to transfer to afour-year institution upon completion ofthe degree will obtain the necessaryknowledge and skills to improve their success in agricultural production or manyof the agricultural support industries.
