2nd Annual Top Jeep CompetitionThis past Saturday Oct 4th, Arkansas Jeep Owners Society along with all the other local Jeep clubs got together

for the 2nd annual Top Jeep Competition. We had 163 Jeeps in attendance and had 103 actually enter the competition. This event is all about helping others! This year we decided to support 4 Wheel to Heal. This is a non profit group that helps injured service men and women returning home, get out of the hospitals and rehab centers, and get them back out in nature and on trail rides and give them an opportunity to start healing and feel normal again. Together we raised $1,500 to send to 4 Wheel to Heal through the generous support of those that attended.

This years event was held at Blackmon Auto Auction and we had a large vendor set up where Jeep owners could come in and view some of the latest off road products. We had one of our clubs, The Arkansas Crawlers came out and cooked for everyone. Then we had an obstacle course set up for everyone to take their rigs out and test them out on. Over all it was a fantastic event for the Jeep community.

In addition, everyone that entered the competition, was given a raffle ticket and we raffled off over 100 prizes. From Light bars to lockers and everything in between. Then all the Jeeps were judged by a panel of judges made up of one member from each club, and the winners and runners up were given nice glass trophies donated by Steve Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Finally the big prize of the day was a Rock Crawler donated by Thomas Blackmon and Blackmon Auto Auctions, that everyone bought raffle tickets to win, and Larry Gatrell from Cabot won it off of one $20 raffle ticket!

This event is just further proof of how Jeepers can come together and are more than willing to support each other as well as help those in need. We are very grateful to all that came out and are already looking to have an even bigger event next year!
