Red light cameras will be coming to Rochester very soon. The discussion to place amongst elected officials, rather if these new installa-tions will be viable in the City of Rochester as opposed to big places like New York City. A grant given from New York State will pay for the installation of these cameras. The discussion continued in the room revolving around the placement of these cameras, the neighborhoods targeted and the people who they will affect the most. Through a traffic analysis, the Monroe County Department of Trans-portation and the City of Rochester’s, mostly likely the Environmental Services Department, will determine the locations. This will create a fair placement of Red Light Cameras based on traffic statistics only and not high crime areas as perceived. Other questions raised include, will these camera installations increase traffic accidents, the expected generated revenues and the process and responsibility of future maintenance of cameras. The answers include, that there will be an initial increase of re-ended accidents, but after this short initial phase, accidents will decrease. The income generated would be about 1.2 million (if I remember cor-rectly) but will decrease in about three years. This quickly raised another question amongst leaders in the room to determine sustainability, taxpayer burden and its effects. Revenue generated from sales will cover general maintenance cost, while some disagree on its sustaining power. I predict that this program will sunset or become part of a political platform within three years.

Mayor Brown Calls Thompson Re-election “Critical”: Pledges Additional Support Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown recently pledged additional manpower and presented State Senator Antoine Thompson with a $3,000 check in support of his campaign for re-election ; a win which Mayor Brown called “critical.” It was the mayor’s second sizable donation to Thompson’s campaign. He also said that he would provide 34 volunteers every Tuesday and Wednesday for the remainder of the cam-paign to work the phones at Thompson’s headquarters. Speaking at the New Golden Nugget during a fundraiser for the Senator a few weeks ago, Brown told those present that this year’s election was far more serious than some may believe. “We can’t take anything for granted,” he said. “We look at the Senator’s work and we just believe he’s a shoe-in…in this political climate, the only way he can be a shoe in is if we work …we cannot sleep on this election.” The anti-incumbent, Tea-Party conser-vative, “angry American,” racially charged movement is the wave Thompson’s opponent is hoping to ride into office on in the general election.In addition, Thompson’s campaign efforts have been bombarded by a relentless and unprecedented, media assault. But Thompson, a veteran campaigner, has his troops on the ground and is weathering the storm with less than a week before the election. “We need sound leaders like Antoine to stay in the Senate so he can continue to make it possible for Buffalo to receive its fair share,” said Mayor Brown. His re-election is also critical to keep the State Senate Democrats in the majority. This is the first time in some 43 years that Buffalo has had not only one Democratic Senator in the majority in Albany –but two. Russia’s First Black Mayor Says He's 'No Obama' Peter Bossman gives the thumbs-up after winning the second round of local elections in Lucija on October 24. PRAGUE/ZAGREB -- Slovenia's first Black mayor has laughed off media descriptions of himself as a "Slovenian Obama" after his election victory on October 24, RFE/RL's Balkan Service reports. Peter Bossman, a doctor who was born in Ghana, came to study medicine in what was then Yugoslavia in 1977. After living in Belgrade, he moved to Ljubljana and married a Croatian doctor. On October 24, Bossman narrowly beat the incumbent to become mayor of the small coastal town of Piran. "I am very happy and proud and I hope I will be successful," Bossman told RFE/RL. "I will speak openly with the citizens. I am going to listen to them, their ideas, suggestions, and criticisms as well." Bossman, 54, said he has never had problems because of the color of his skin, describing Piran -- a town of some 15,000 -- as a "mixed city" of Slovenians, Italians, Croats, Bosnians, and others. "The most important [thing] is that you are an honest and good man," he said. RFE/RL asked Bossman, a Social Democrat, about media reports dubbing him the "Slovenian Obama," after U.S. President Barack Obama. "I am used to saying to the media...I am not Obama," he said. "I am Peter Boss-man and I am the mayor of Piran."

Less than two weeks before the mid-terms elections, the NAACP published a new report that exposes what it calls links between various Tea Party organiza-tions and racist hate groups in the United States. The report, ‘Tea Party National-ism,’ analyzes each of the six most active Tea Party organizations in the country and describes links between Tea Party factions and various white supremacist groups, anti-immigrant organizations and militias. The nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization declared in a report released Wednesday that the Tea Party was “permeated with concerns about race,” an assessment that is likely to reig-nite a feud between the two groups.The report by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

NAACP Report Links Tea Party Leaders to ‘Hate Groups’argues that Tea Party groups “have given platform to anti-Semites, racists and bigots,” and have attracted white nation-alists looking for recruits. “The Tea Party movement has unleashed a still inchoate political move-ment who are in their numerical majority, angry middle-class white people who believe their country, their nation, has been taken from them,” argues the report, called Tea Party Nationalism. Written by Leonard Ziskind, who has written extensively on white nationalism, the report looks at what it calls six nation-wide Tea Party networks at the core of the movement. It says that leaders of all but one — FreedomWorks, a libertarian group in Washington headed by Dick Armey, a former House majority leader

– have raised questions about President Obama’s birth certificate or have ties to white supremacist groups.Most of the groups the report focuses on are better described as social media networks that predate the Tea Party move-ment but have become popular among Tea Party activists, among others. The core of the movement remains local Tea Party and 9/12 groups, which are harder to analyze because of their dif-fuse nature; the report explicitly notes that it did not make an effort to examine these groups.And a foreword from the N.A.A.C.P.’s president, Benjamin Todd Jealous, notes that the vast majority of Tea Party sup-porters “are sincere, principled people of good will.”

But the N.A.A.C.P. also points to signs at Tea Party rallies with explicitly racist or racially charged language. It notes that several black congressmen accused Tea Party supporters of shouting racial epithets at them in March, during a rally against health care legislation on Capitol Hill. And Mr. Jealous called on Tea Party leaders to repudiate this kind of racism, as well as ties to white supremacist groups and “birthers” within the ranks of the movement. The N.A.A.C.P. passed a similar resolution seeking such a repudiation at its convention in July. Tea Party leaders reacted angrily, saying that there was no proof that the incidents outside the Capitol had occurred. And they have long said that they do not harbor racists. Still, the N.A.A.C.P. report notes that slowly, Tea Party leaders have expelled leaders accused of making racist remarks – a move it calls “welcome first steps.” Some Tea Party leaders condemned the report, accusing the NAACP of abandon-ing its civil rights mission and of becom-ing a mouthpiece of the liberal left.

In Haiti, Cholera Heightens Earthquake Misery PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — A cholera outbreak that already has left 250 people dead and more than 3,000 sick-ened is at the doorstep of an enormous potential breeding ground: the squalid camps in Port-au-Prince where 1.3 mil-lion earthquake survivors live. Health authorities and aid workers are scram-bling to keep the tragedies from merging and the deaths from multiplying. Five cholera patients have been reported in Haiti’s capital, heightening worries that the disease could reach the sprawl-ing tent slums where abysmal hygiene, poor sanitation, and widespread poverty could rapidly spread it. But government officials said Sunday that all five appar-ently got cholera outside Port-au-Prince, and they voiced hope that the deadly bacterial disease could be confined to the rural areas where the outbreak originated last week.

“It’s not difficult to prevent the spread to Port-au-Prince. We can prevent it,” said Health Ministry director Gabriel Timothee. He said tightly limiting move-ment of patients and careful disposal of bodies can stave off a major medical disaster. If efforts to keep cholera out of the camps fail, “The worst case would be that we have hundreds of thousands of people getting sick at the same time,” said Claude Surena, president of the Haiti Medical Association.

The Freedom Party Can’t Hurt the Democrats Any More Than They’ve Already Hurt Themselves Says Freedom Party Candidate Eva Doyle Freedom Party candidate for Lt. Governor Eva Doyle said she wants to assure voters that the Freedom party will take enough votes away from Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic candidate for Governor, to cause Republican Carl Paladino to will win the election. “That there are three million more Democrats in New York State than Republicans. Democrats out number Republicans 2 to 1,” stated Mrs. Doyle. “It is up to Mr. Cuomo to work hard to get those votes. It is his responsibility to get his message out to the Democratic voters of New York. He has a lot of work to do in a short length of time. The Freedom Party will not accept any blame for taking votes away from Mr. Cuomo. In fact, we feel very strongly that he must earn the Black vote!” She said that the Freedom Party has “every right “to be in this election. There are seven gubernatorial candidates in this race. “Here we are on the verge of making history to be the first Black and Latino led Part to have a presence in the political landscape of this country and a few Black folks with petty thoughts want to knock us down.,” she continued. “The Freedom Party is a Black and Latino led Party, open to all people.” Both the Democrats and Republicans have selected an all-White, all male slate of candidates in the race for governor. The candidates on the Freedom Party line include New York City Councilman Charles Barron, an advocate of affordable housing and affordable higher education; Ramon Jimenez , Attorney General candidate, who has fought long and hard for the rights of Latinos, Blacks and working people. Mrs. Doyle, an educator and columnist for The Criterion Newspaper, has been at the forefront of education and a wide variety of community issues for more than 30 years. “The Freedom Party is really not about the candidates,” she explained. “ It is a movement to say to all who will listen; it is time to stop taking the Black vote for granted. If I listen to both candidates, I’m not hearing them address any issues pertain-ing to the working class, poor people or urban communities.”

Albertina Walker, Legendary Gospel Singer Dies at 81

Often dubbed the “Queen of Gospel,” vocalist Albertina Walker spent six decades inspiring future gospel art-ists and inspiring legions of fans with songs like “Please Be Patient with Me,” “Lord Keep Me Day By Day” and “Walk Around Heaven.” Walker, the former lead singer of The Caravans, died Oct. 8 after a lengthy hospitalization for emphysema-related complications. She was admitted to the hospital Aug. 29, also her birthday.

Think of your favor-ite song. Now take away the lyrics so the only sounds in your mind are a perfectly mixed combination of your favorite instruments. Perhaps some piano, a little bit of drums,

maybe a bass or a variety of those instruments added to new technology. Advanced sounds woven together to create the beat, the pulse of your favor-ite song that makes your head nod or feet tap. This is no easy task, however for Buf-falo native producer/ songwriter Emery “Education” McMillan, creating that sound is a passion. With a lengthy list of production credits, Education debuts his first solo production album appropriately titled “Check My Resume.” “Creating music becomes an addiction, I became an addict,” laughs Education during a recent interview. He lists veteran producers such as Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Timberland and Pete Rock as producers who’ve influenced his work. He also talks vividly of drawing inspiration from everyday life. “The sound has to incorporate what people want to hear, what they want to feel as a producer you have to capture that and express it in sound.” His initial exposure to music came from his father, Richard McMillan, owner of RAM Productions.’ “I would go with him to help DJ weddings and different events. I was exposed to all types of music,” recalled Education. Later when looking for a positive outlet, he turned to the piano. Some of Buffalo’s most talented musicians took him under their wing – Doug “Trigger” Gaston, Bilal Abdul and Quadir Abdul – and helped to foster his talent as a musician, which led to his calling to create music. I had the opportunity to hear a few songs from “Check my Resume” which is a combination of hip-hop, jazz, r&b and poetry featuring Buffalo Artist Johnny Proper, Alumni, 30 in 30 Out Boys, Chanel, Thugzman, AK Reid, and former Buffalo native P.SO. On October 30 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, St. Martin de Porres is holding the 1st Annual Dan and Joanne Workman Line and Swing Dance, fea-turing guest DJ Jive King. The evening which begins at 6 p.m. features a Buffet Dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a full night of dancing; all proceeds will go towards the Workman Family Fellowship Mall, which will be located next to the church on Northampton Street. This event cel-ebrates the lives of this wonderful couple, who gave so much to our community.

We can no longer deny the fact that the Democratic Party, where most of us belong, has taken our vote for granted. To paraphrase Freedom Party candidate for Governor NYC Councilman Charles Barron, “The only thing people understand is when you have some power.” I proudly support the “Freedom Party” ticket and encourage Blacks and Latinos to come out and vote line “2H”Charles Barron for Governor, Eve M. Doyle for Lieutenant Governor and right across “5H” Attorney General Ramon J. Jimenez.We need to pull over 50,000 votes to have ballot status for the next four years. I already had the dream that we pulled a half million votes statewide; we can and must vote for the “Freedom Party.” When the powers that be think they can do things to you and we’re just going to go along, to get along and we’re not going to risk anything to fight for our liberation, that’s when they continue to oppress us. On October 13 Governor Patterson was in town in front City Hall. As news reporters asked him questions, I had a chance to ask him a question representing the Challenger. I asked him what was his opinion on the legitimacy of the Free-dom Party? He stated that voter frustration and dissatisfaction with the states’ major party created a climate of discontent and the Freedom Party is a force to be reckoned with. I corrected the Governor when he said The Freedom Party gathered 40,000 signatures. I said “Governor we needed 15,000 statewide. We got 55,000 Democratic names.” I added that we African Americans in the state did not like how the powers that be treated him. I asked him for a favor. I asked him if he would call my mother and wish her a happy 90 birthday. I gave his people the information. I called my mom to let her know that the Governor would be calling to wish her a happy birthday. I spoke with her later that evening and she said the Governor had called, she was so happy. People don’t forget to come out and vote. We must send our State Senator Antoine M. Thompson, 15A on the Democratic line and our State Assembly member Crystal D. Peoples Stokes, 16A on the Democratic line, back to represent us. We cannot forget to vote for James A. W. McLeod for County Court Judge also on the Democratic line where “Experience Matters.” Freedom now, freedom forever, vote the Freedom Party Line! To paraphrase my father, “If you start off kissing a--, you’ll always kiss a--.” Stand up and e a man and woman. Vote for power and our freedom!

Come this November 2 General Elections, vote the Freedom Party Line - a Black and Hispanic led political party seeking ballot status in New York State , which will enable The Freedom Party to endorse candidates!

The Bible states, “God bless the child that has its own.” Politics (politricks) can be confusing, like having a Black president in the white house speaking of the founding fathers in grand terms when they were all slave owners! A question that comes to mind is, why? The political landscape! You can’t serve two masters. The founding fathers of this country were members of the two major party systems of Democrats and Republicans who passed laws to retain status quo. People of color became Democrats in large numbers after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of the 1960’s. The result: We’ve been marginalized and faced unparallel unem-ployment, high rates of incarceration, low quality of education,

poor or nonexistent health care. An example of this is Michigan Democratic Congressman John Conyers’ Bill (HR370) to study the concept of reparations for slavery. It was introduced in the 90’s , but the two major political parties have not passed it through Congress yet! I recently read about an upcoming study that will look at the unemployment rate of people of color (that has been historically double the rate of the country’s unemployment rate), to see if our Civil rRights have been violated. An entirely White slate of Democratic candidates for statewide offices and the rise of Tea Party influence on races across the state means “taxation without representation.” On the other hand, the candidates of the Freedom Party have a track record of service to the people in their respective areas of experience. Charles Barron for Governor has been a New York City Councilman for nearly a decade. He is noted for developing affordable housing and state of the art parks and is a champion of affordable higher education. Eva Doyle for Lt. Governor, a 26 year educator in the Buffalo School System, radio commentator and journalist for Buffalo black press: Criterion and Challenger newspapers. Ramon Jimenez for Attorney General, a Harvard educated lawyer, former college professor at Hostos College and former Administrative Judge, known as the “peoples lawyer” for protecting the human rights of working people and their families. Starting in New York State, The Freedom Party can grow nationally across the country to empower people of color giving a voice to the voiceless in the mode of the original Mississippi Democratic Freedom Party, started by Fannie Lou Hamer in the 1964. During the recent debate for governor Oct. 18, a question was asked about cor-ruption and ethics in politics. Charles Barron was the only candidate that mentioned his running mates and their lifelong commitment to service and trust of the people. Mr. Barron also quipped that asking Como and Paladino about corruption is like asking an arsonist to help put out the fire! Another factor to consider: Charles Barron is the only one in the race who has balanced a budget, being a councilman of Brooklyn’s 42nd district for a decade. This is very important given the state of New York’s history of late budgets. Another point to consider is the present state of education. With the high rate of dropouts and underachievement, the Freedom Party candidate for Lt. Governor Eva Doyle has over 26 years of experience in education. Regent of education of NY state Adelaide Samford is a vocal supporter of the Freedom Party. With the corruption of politics so rampant, the Freedom party’s candidate for Attorney General, Ramon Jimenez’ greatest achievement, is never abandoning his principles of fighting for the rights of Latinos, Blacks and the working class people to receive justice. Remember when Freedom party candidate Barron was speaking of the dangers that come with the Hydro-fracking method of drilling on the lake/sea bed for gas and the contamination to our drinking water that results. He also had to put Cuomo in his place. Mr. Como never responded to the parking lot question and corruption! The time for plantation politics is long over due - the practice of people of color voting the Democratic line and getting little of nothing in return. Come November 2nd the only real reason to vote is The FREEDOM PARTY line 2 H and 5H. You can still vote locally for Democrat Antoine Thompson, Crystal Peoples, and James McLeod. It’s called spit voting. Just be sure to mark Barron/Doyle first! And remember Ramon Jimenez for Attorney General. Vote for real change! Peace&love

Vote Against the Proposition To Downs ize the Legislature! Save the Seats Held by Grant, Williams!Dear Editor:

An item will appear on the ballot in November that will have the greatest effect on the City of Buffalo is not the voting position for Governor, United States Senator, New York Senator or even the Ellicott Councilmember, it is the proposition to downsize the Erie County Legislature.

On the ballot on November 2 there will be a proposition that voters will decide whether to downsize the county legisla-ture from 15 members to 11 members or keep it at 15 members. If this proposi-tion is approved the City of Buffalo will loose at least one representative. There are only three representatives whose districts are totally in the City of Buf-falo (Grant, Williams, and Whyte) and downsizing any of the legislature, one of these districts will be lost. This could also effect the total number of minorities that are elected to the County Legislature. They could combine the seats that Grant and Williams are elected to and there would only be one minority elected to the legislature.

We have a County Executive whose administration is anti-city, anti-poor and anti-minority and who also controls the legislature. If the legislature is downsized he will become even stronger, and the county would become more anti- city, anti-poor and anti-minority.

During Mr. Collins’ first three years in office, he has cut funding for cultural organizations, closed community health centers, closed the county run WIC offices, cut funding for youth programs, and closed the Refuge Temple’s Citadel Home for Boys and moved the program to Hamburg, NY (what was Mayor Brown thinking about when he said that Chris Collins is a friend of the city?).

Please join me next week and vote against this proposition. I’m asking all elected officials that represent the city of Buf-falo, clergy, political leaders and the community to stand up and vote against this proposition and to send a clear mes-sage to Chris Collins that we don’t care for his policies.

Remember Mr. Collins’ way of run-ning government, “If you don’t like it, sue me.”

President Obama is creating a sense of urgency, and he’s warning Americans that if Republicans win big in November and reclaim the House, life for many Americans will be even more of a struggle. Obama is also making the rounds on Black radio programs this week and appeared on “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” Tuesday. Following are excerpts from that historic broadcast.

TOM JOYNER: The president of the United States, Barack Obama, is on the air. Are you fired up? PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Fired up and ready to go, Tom, because it is - we’ve got a big election on November 2nd, and I just want everybody listening to “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” - I don’t care where you live, anywhere in the country - I need you to show up and vote on November 2nd because everything that we’re trying to do, from helping young people afford college to making sure that folks have health care to trying to get jobs back in our communities, all that is going to depend on me having folks in Congress who want to move this country forward, as opposed to moving it backward. JOYNER: What are some of the areas in the country that you need the help - our help - the most? PRESIDENT: Well, look, as I said, everywhere your listeners can make a difference because so many of these races are tight. I mean, you look at - in Pennsylvania, it’s a toss-up state, not just for the Senate race, but also a whole bunch of House races. You look in Colorado - toss-up Senate race, bunch of House races, same thing. California, we’ve got some tight races. Washington State, tight race. Florida, tight race. Virginia, there are some important races there. Ohio, critical races. So folks in Columbus and Cleveland and Cincinnati all can make huge differences on these races. So there is practically no place in the country in which a strong turnout is not going to make a potential difference. And as I said, this is not just a matter of politics. This has to do with a critical time in our history when we are really making some important changes. We took tens of billions of dollars away from banks who were getting these unwarranted subsidies, and we put that money into student loans and Pell grants so that millions of young people across the country can afford college. Republicans say they want to roll that back. We finally have made progress on health care, where we’re seeing people able to get health care who didn’t have it before because of preexisting conditions; restric-tions on what insurance companies can do if they want to just drop your coverage. That’s no longer allowed. They’ve got to - if you’re paying your premiums, they’ve got to treat you fairly. Republicans say they want to roll that back. Credit card reform. We’ve made sure that credit card companies can’t jack up your rates without notice, or mortgage brokers can’t steer you to higher interest rate payments and predatory loans. Republicans say they want to roll that back. So, on each of these issues that we’ve worked so hard on on the last couple of years, they are basically saying, we want to go back to the old ways of doing busi-ness, and that is just not acceptable. So even though I’m not on the ballot, I need everybody knowing that we need you to get out there November 2nd. I want everybody to be talking about getting out there and voting. This is - 2008 wasn’t a one-time proposition. What I always try to explain to folks is we’ve just gone through the first quarter of the game. We’ve got three more quarters to go. SYBIL WILKES (co-host): ..., Mr. President, it was very interesting. I was telling Tom and J. that it was a great number of African-American and Hispanic voters who were in line, ready to vote on that first day. PRESIDENT:Well, that’s a good sign. And that kind of energy and enthusiasm is what’s important. As I said, not just because folks care about the politics of it. I hope everybody really understands what’s at stake in terms of the substance. It is going to be very hard for us to keep on making progress on things like unemployment insurance, giving people support to make sure that states and local governments aren’t laying off teachers, making sure that we’re able to provide help

November 2, Election Day, will be one of the most important elections for the next 4 years to come. Staying home is not an option , and not voting is not a choice. You must come out and vote! These races effect our future. It’s very serious. We must show our support for what ever candidate we choose as a leader that’s unbossed and unbought . There are four very important races that will help us or if we lose, will hurt us. We’ve only had two years to help our president Barack Obama with his agenda to help the poor and put his health care plan as well as other issues that help our people Black, White & Hispanic. You can’t expect two years to change 8 years worth of devastation caused by the Bush administration. But the last two years has helped us tremendously with health care so far as well other poli-cies President Obama has put into effect. Of course a lot of other people don’t like his agenda, but where were they over the last eight years while we were torn apart with the Republicans’ agenda under the leadership of George W. Bush. Where was the Tea Party then? Were they asleep during these years or is it that they’re just reacting to us having a Black President, Black Governor, and Black Senator and so on? Let’s not let them rock us to sleep. Here are the candidates I’m endorsing and I’m asking all of our readers to spread the word to get out to vote. *Congresswoman Louise Slaugh-

Vote Thompson on Nov. 2! *Judge McLeod-The best qualified to be elected to the higher court, but because of the cross endorsement don’t be fooled .He needs all of the Black, Hispanic votes to really take him over the top. If we don’t come out he will lose and we won’t get another chance probably for another 40 years. We deserve to have a Hispanic judge also, what’s up with that? *Governors Race- neither major party candidate came to our community to solicit our votes, Democrat or Repub-lican. Are we being taken for granted? Yes, that’s why we have to vote on the Freedom Party Line, if we don’t we will not have a chance to pick our own Can-didates for at least 4 more years. Why do the two major Candidates have all White slates, as if there isn’t anyone of Color qualified to run on their ticket? So much for diversity! Look at what they did to our first Black Governor but also

what they did to who would have been our first Black Governor Carl H McCall 10 years ago. He was well qualified but they choose a White Republican governor than a Black man. That’s why Cuomo picked his White running mate from Rochester rather than Bryon Brown, just in case he got caught up in a scandal like Eliot Spitzer wouldn’t end up with a Black Governor again. “Mark Grisanti needs your support to represent Grand Island. Save Grand Island!” reads the flyer. “Did you know you are represented by Antoine Thompson in the New York State Senate? Antoine Thompson is looked upon as an embarrassment from one end of the State to the other! The only place that doesn’t seem to realize that fact is the East Side of Buffalo. “The question is: Why is Grand Island putting up with it? Why is Grand Island wiling to be governed by Antoine Thompson and his East Side Political gang?”

Analysis:

Thompson Opponent Releases Racist Campaign Literature on Grand Island Gang? East side? On Grand Island – oh my! That’s subtle “don’t-vote-for-him-because-he’s-a-black-guy” talk. Calling Sen. Thompson an “embar-rassment” and claiming that “the only place that doesn’t seem to realize that fact is the East side of Buffalo,” clearly suggests that the East side is just popu-lated by a bunch of dumb Blacks. The flyer goes on to explain how “Grand Island can Save Everybody” with some strategic voting. Its difficult to see the photo they used of Sen. Thompson, but if its anything like the negative campaign mailers they’re

flooding the district with, its terrible, complete with stereotypical bucked eyes. “On November 2, 2010, walk into a voting booth and give Thompson the Pink slip that he deserves…” declares the “campaign literature.” That’s right. Send another negro to the unemployment office…they don’t want to work anyway…. The flyer was “A Paid Political Announcement of the First Amendment Club”
