October

One month of school down. It’s crazy how fast the

month of September has gone by! This month has

been busy for me and I’m sure for all of you to. I am

really excited to be able to say that I have visited

three of Division 68’s clubs already! I want to thank

all those clubs for hosting me and making me feel

welcome. And Canby, I get to see you guys next

week!

In visiting these clubs, I loved having the opportunity

to talk to everyone about Key Club on the District

and International level. I hope you guys enjoyed

learning about all the different opportunities!

A lot of stuff is going on the October and it is

important to keep in mind a few pieces of

information. District Convention’s Call to Convention

has been released. Your advisors have all been

given the information packets and registration is

due on February 5, 2013. The new membership

update center has been launched so I encourage

club secretaries and advisors to start work on

entering your entire club’s data. Contact me with

any questions because I’m totally willing to help!

A few people from Division 68 attended Mt. Hood

Kiwanis’ Key Leader last weekend, and I loved

hearing about their experiences. Set your sights on

attending next year because it will be even better!

This month Key Club has a great opportunity to

support one of our service partners by trick-or-

treating for UNICEF. I have ordered 100 boxes along

with assorted advertisement materials. Contact me

if you have interest in supporting this cause!

Love You Guys!

Ever feel like life is just running

you down? District Governor

Giovanni has given the District

Board a ‘song of the week’. An

inspirational song to get people

through anything that might be

a little tough.
