Key Clubber of the Month!KAREN MAI
Congrats to Karen for remembering to give us pictures when needed, and being
the only member that took pictures at Salmon Days!
What is UNICEF?
It is an organization that helps children around the world with basic education, gender equality, kids that have been abuse, and HIV/AIDS prevention. This fundraiser is known to be one of the most successful. Last year we raised about $860, while this year our goal is to hit at least $1000! With the most of amount of Key Clubbers we ever had in the history of Liberty High School, we are confident that this goal will be met.
How can you help? Each clubber who wants to help fundraise can get a box. You can ask your friends,
family, to even your neighbors. Instead of asking for candy on Halloween, how about you ask for any change for a great cause? Then in the beginning of November, and we will count all the money that has been collected and share how much we raised at the next
meeting.
Sophomores Sydney Johnson, Jacob Winter, and Blake Warmenhoven with their boxes!

2012 – 2013 Key Club Board
Lisa Antonio (President)
Hey Key Clubbers! I am so excited for the new Key Club
year. With so much going on it means the world to me that there are people who are willing, and want to volunteer their time to
the community. This year is going to be an amazing year, with Key Club holding MORP this year will
be busy! I am thrilled to be serving you as your 2012-2013
Key Club President, and if there is anything you need or would like
to try as a service project, don't hesitate, and just ask! I
would love to hear what you guys have to say. I would just like to
say thank you so much for serving, it truly takes amazing
people especially in high school, to want to serve!
Kia Vang (Vice President)
Hi Key Clubbers! I hope you are all having a wonderful time so far being part of Key Club and if not, we'll be sure that happens. Thank
you for all being so patient and being dedicated members that show up early for school every Tuesday morning! Please don't hesitate to ask any of us if you
have any questions or just to say hi in the hallways! I'm expecting to get to know more of you guys
and I hope we can make this year a wonderful one!
Emerson Collin (Secretary)
Hello All! I hope that as this school year is settling down, you are able
to enjoy more of what Key Club has to offer. Because we have so many members, our main goal, as officers, is to provide you all with opportunities aplenty. Remember that our volunteer work serves the
community, and the community appreciates it! The more you
participate, the more involved and spirited you will feel. Thank you for all of the work that you have put
in, and I hope your excitement and participation with Key Club and community service continue to
grow throughout this year. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas (especially for new volunteering opportunities), just find any one of the Key Club officers and we will do our best to assist you. Thanks for joining Key
Club!
Kelly Le (Bulletin Editor)
I want you guys to know that Key Club is all about being leaders.
Taking action. Serving the community. Making wise decisions.
I can fully say that being in Key Club for the 2nd year now, it has
taught me all those values and it has forever changed my
perspective on the world, and serving. I am in love and blessed with the great number of people that joined this year, and cannot
wait to see how high school students can make a difference,
and thank you so much for joining and being a part of this year’s Key
Club.
Akielly Hu (Treasurer)
Hey Key Clubbers! I'm hoping your school year is off to a good start and you're having fun in Key
Club so far. This year, it will be the officers' priority to make sure we have lots of great events
and volunteer opportunities for you guys. Everything we do here supports and gives back to
our school and our community, so get ready to help lots of inspiring individuals! Thank you for your outstanding commitment, dedication and
hard work so far. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas, feel free to talk to me or any
of your other Key Club officers. Let's make this Key Club year a great one!
Azan Sarosh (Treasurer)
Hey LHS Key Clubbers! I hope you guys are enjoying Key Club
so far, I know it's crazy right now with so many people, but it's worth it. Anyways I'm your
treasurer so if you ever have any question about dues, or anything
related to Key Club for that matter, don't be shy to ask, I
really want to get to know all of you. Also get your dues in fast! It
really helps us out. Otherwise you get on mine & Akielly's bad
side. It’s going to be a great year
KD Kerstetter: Community Service Coordinator
Hey! I’m KD and I am your Community Service Coordinator this year. Later in the year I will be organizing a new service project for the club. I have a passion for community service so I am involved in multiple community service organizations. This summer I represented Liberty Key Club in Orlando Florida. I learned about Key Club’s projects and voted on our new international board of officers. I look forward to represent you on the board and to volunteer side by side with all of you!
