The Purpose of the Residence Life Journal

The purpose of the Residence Life Journal is to provide a newsletter that

centers around the Residence Life Program. The journal is

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The month of October is dedicated to the women with or without breast cancer. We must support this cause by wearing pink and donating to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. This foundation wants to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by pro-viding mammograms for women in need. In order to complete this task NBCF has to get funds from people who help out and support. Many women had died from having breast cancer go untreated. We must be able to help those in need and donate to make sure no one will fall victim to breast cancer.

Riddle #1

It's more powerful than God. It's more evil than the devil. The poor have it. The rich need it. If you eat it, you'll die.

What am I

Riddle #2

The one who makes it sells it. The one who buys it doesn't use it. The one who's using it doesn't know he's using it.

What is it

Riddle #3

Two cops walked into a room with no windows and found a dead man who obviously hung himself from the ceil-ing, though they couldn't figure out how. There was no chair beneath him that he might have jumped off of, or a table. Just a puddle of water.

How'd he do it

Pennsylvania Crazy Law

You do not need a fishing license to fish on your own land, but a hunting license is required to hunt on your own land

Dynamite is not to be used to catch fish

It is illegal to have over 16 women live in a house together because that constitutes a brothel. .However, up to 120 men can live together, without breaking the law.

That’s more like it

After falling 0-2 in the past two games, the Bulldogs bounced back to crush Williams Trade in a 36-0 blow out. The Bulldogs stand 3-2 now and hopefully they can move on to be the Sea-board Conference Champions.

I had the chance to talk with Coach Figueroa before he and his team started to practice. I asked him “ What do you want to ac-complish this year?” he replied, “With the talent that we have this year, I’m expecting to begin at a slow to medium pace, but by the end of the year, we will be one on the top competing teams.” Then, I asked “What would make this year different from last year?” Coach stated, “We have a wide variety of runners, and for the first time in the history of the college, we have women runners that are competing on the cross country team.” I then wished him and his team ongoing, continued success.
