When the Beloved Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ وـَ عـَلـَيْهـِ االلهـُ ـَـّ� � was taken from Haram (صـَmosque to Aqsa mosque, the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ وـَ عـَلـَيْهـِ االلهـُ ـَـّ� � told the (صـَwhole incident to the people. The non-believers went running to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (ـِ�ـَ االلهـُ عـَنْہ� and asked, ‘Can you confirm what your (رـَFriend ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ وـَ عـَلـَيْهـِ االلهـُ ـَـّ� � ) has just said that he (صـَ لـَـّمـَ سـَ وـَ عـَلـَيْهـِ االلهـُ ـَـّ� � visited from (صـَHaram mosque to Aqsa mosque overnight?’ Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (عـَنْہ االلهـُ �ـِ�ـَ asked, ‘Did the Holy (رـَProphet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � ) really tell this incident?’ The non-believers said, ‘Yes.’ Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (صـَ �ـِ�ـَ رـَ) replied, ‘If the Holy Prophet (االلهـُ عـَنْہ لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � has told it, it is definitely true and I confirm it without (صـَany doubt.’ They asked, ‘Do you also confirm this surprising incident that he ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � went to (صـَBait-ul-Muqaddas at night and returned from there before the sunrise?’ Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (ـِ�ـَ االلهـُ عـَنْہ� (رـَsaid, ‘Yes! I frequently confirm Divine news that the Holy Prophet (َلـَـّمـ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � brings, and confirming (صـَthe Divine news is certainly more surprising than this incident. Hence, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (ـِ�ـَ االلهـُ عـَنْہ� (رـَbecame famous as ‘Siddique’ after this incident. (Mustadrak, Hadith 4407)

There is no doubt that children are the apple of their parents’ eye. Parents want to see their children as successful citizens of the society. In order to accomplish this aim, they admit their children to the best possible institution, give them the best clothes to wear, the best food to eat and to the best of their financial ability, they give them pocket money. In short, they think that it is necessary for them to fulfill all their needs and wishes. But alas! A number of parents do not notice what their children are learning, their gatherings and who their friends are. Remember! The children want attention, love and a�ectionate behaviour of their parents. Therefore, parents should not only rely on educational institutions for education and upbringing of their children, they should also find time for their good upbringing. They should try to increase Divine fear and love for the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � in the children. They should increase (صـَtheir love for the blessed family of the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ وـَ عـَلـَيْهـِ االلهـُ ـَـّ� � ان) his companion ,(صـَ الرـِـّضْوـَ and (عـَلـَيْهمـُ Awliya (ان الرـِـّضْوـَ They should ask their children to perform prayers and do Zikr with them. They .(عـَلـَيْهمـُ should give them the mindset to convey Sawab to the deceased. All these acts will help you when your child will recite the following prayers:

Islamic scholars have said that it is desirable (Mustahab) to call Azan during di�cult times and pandemic outbreak.

Pandemic of Coronavirus has reached almost all the world a�ecting the lives of various people. Recently, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri (ْه ـِيـَ ال ـَاتـُهـُمـُ الْعـَ تْ بـَرـَ� encouraged to call Azan in (دـَامـَall the departments of Dawat-e-Islami to stay safe from Coronavirus and other pandemics. Di�erent o�ces of Dar-ul-Madinah and all the campuses across Pakistan started calling Azan at an appropriate time daily. You are also requested to call Azan at your homes. May Almighty Allah save us all from all the kinds of troubles and pandemics.

Haji Amin Attari, member of advisory committee Dawat-e-Islami and Nigran of Karachi Region visited Dar-ul-Madinah on Youm-e-Raza. Members of Majlis Dar-ul-Madinah welcomed him and showed him around di�erent departments of Dar-ul-Madinah. The sta� also gave him briefings about the work and its procedures. Haji Amin Attari conducted a training session for the sta� of Dar-ul-Madinah. The theme of training session was the blessed character of Imam-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Shah Ahmed Raza Khan (ِةـُ االلهـِ عـَلـَيْهـ حْمـَ The session was .(رـَattended by city management of Pakistan and India through video link. Haji Amin said that Aala Hazrat ةـُ االلهـِ عـَلـَيْهـِ) حْمـَ لـَـّمـَ) was a very renowned Islamic scholar and a true lover of the Holy Prophet (رـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � He .(صـَةـُ االلهـِ عـَلـَيْهـِ) حْمـَ was extremely humble, generous and well-mannered. He said that the saints of Allah naturally (رـَhave the quality that they are well-mannered, sociable and with the help of these qualities, they spread Islamic teachings. Co-curricular activities play an important role in improving mental capabilities of students. These activities not only increase their written and spoken skills, they also help them to shape their character and improve their manners.

On the special religious occasions of Eid Meelad-un-Nabi and Youm-e-Aala Hazrat, all the pre-primary, primary and secondary boys and girls campuses of Dar-ul-Madinah held competitions of reciting the Holy Quran, Holy Naat, delivering speeches and quizzes. The students participated in all the activities with great enthusiasm. The winning students qualified for city-level, region-level and country-level competitions. The winners were awarded shields to encourage them.

Love of the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � is essence of faith. The lovers of (صـَMeelad put up green flags at their homes, o�ces and streets, illuminate them and praise the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � Further, they .(صـَgrace their hearts by speeches about the blessed manners and character of the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � By the grace of Almighty .(صـَAllah, on this occasion, Head O�ce of Dar-ul-Madinah International Islamic School System, o�ces of city management and various campuses of Dar-ul-Madinah situated in Pakistan and overseas were decorated with green flags, buntings and lights. Hence, Meelad-un-Nabi ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � was celebrated with great zeal. All the students of Dar-ul-Madinah wore (صـَbeautiful badges and attended the congregations holding green flags in their hands. Di�erent students also participated in recitation of the Holy Quran, Holy Naat and quiz programmes.

A Meelad congregation was held at Dar-ul-Madinah Head O�ce which was attended by Majlis Dar-ul-Madinah and employees from di�erent departments with adherence to Covid-19 SOPs. After recitation of the Holy Quran, the participants recited the Holy Naat. Abu Zuhair, Muhammad Zubair Madani, member of Majlis and director of Deeniyat department delivered a speech about the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � he said that holding Meelad congregation is good fortune. We ,(صـَshould attend such events with great respect and enthusiasm.

A Meelad congregation was also held at Dar-ul-Madinah Head O�ce for females which was attended by islamic sisters from di�erent departments along with daughter of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, members of Central Advisory Body (Dawat-e-Islami) for islamic sisters and some other responsible islamic sisters.

Madani Channel is portraying the true image of Islam in electronic media. Recently, Asad Madani, CEO of Madani Channel visited Dar-ul-Madinah Head O�ce along with his team. Members of Majlis Dar-ul-Madinah welcomed the guests and showed them around Research and Development, IT, HR, Social Media, Academics, Deeniyat, Training and Inspection and other departments. They gave briefings on curriculum of Dar-ul-Madinah, its education system, professional capabilities of the teachers, frequently arranged training sessions and targets of Dar-ul-Madinah in the present and future.

Experienced manpower is considered to be an asset for an organization. Recently, Syed Asad Attari, Head of HR department, Dawat-e-Islami visited Head O�ce of Dar-ul-Madinah situated in Karachi. The member of Majlis Dar-ul-Madinah welcomed the honourable guests and showed them around HR, R&D, IT, Social Media, Education Management, Deeniyat and other departments of Dar-ul-Madinah. They gave briefings on curriculum of Dar-ul-Madinah, its education system and other updates. They also had a discussion with Syed Asad Attari to make better coordination of Dar-ul-Madinah and HR Dawat-e-Islami.

Rukn-e-Majlis Abu Saleh Madani Raza Attari has delivered Islamic speeches in weekly Sunnah-Inspiring congregations of Pindi Gheb and Sialkot whereas Abu Zohair Muhammad Zubair Madani has delivered Islamic speech in Shadadpur Faizan-e-Madinah weekly congregation.

Everyone needs encouragement. Haji Athar Ali Attari delivered training sessions for the sta� of Islamabad, Hyderabad and Multan regions by video link on di�erent occasions. On an occasion, Haji Athar Ali Attari talked about the importance and advantages of encouragement in the light of the character and di�erent aspects of the lives of Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � and his companions. In the (صـَend, he answered the questions asked by the participants.

Training Sessions

Rabi-ul-Aakhir is the fourth month of Islamic calendar. Urs of many Awliya and Ulema (ُہٗ االلهـ حـَمـَ are held in this month. Especially, on the (رـَ11th of this month, a large number of Muslims celebrate Urs-e-Ghous-e-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ِعـَلـَيْهـ االلهـِ ةـُ حْمـَ In this .(رـَregard, a congregation was held at Dar-ul-Madinah. Haji Athar Ali Attari delivered a speech on di�erent aspects of blessed life of Ghos-e-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ِعـَلـَيْهـ ةـُ االلهـِ حْمـَ by video link. Head (رـَo�ce of Dar-ul-Madinah as well as city Majaalis of Pakistan and India attended this speech. Haji Athar Ali Attari said in his speech that the hearts of friends of Allah (Awliya) are pure from the love of the world. They remain devoted to Almighty Allah. They find real pleasure and satisfaction in the Zikr (Remembrance) of Almighty Allah and it is their daily routine. Children learn a lot from their elders. Parents should talk to everyone at home politely. Use courtesy words like ـًا�ْ� زـَاکـَ االلهـُ خـَ ’,thank you,’ ‘please‘ جـَand ‘sorry,’ so that your children can improve their behaviour.

Reaction of parents to the mistakes of child is very important. Scolding and yelling on minor issues or throwing household goods out of anger will have negative impact on your child’s personality. Repeating such behaviour might destroy your dignity. When a child makes mistake, parents should react according to the situation patiently, and also rectify accordingly. Reacting immediately to every mistake can be harmful. Parents should treat their children equally when showing love and a�ection to them. The children may fall victim of inferiority complex, in case parents prefer one child over the other. The Holy Prophet ( لـَـّمـَ سـَ ـَـّ� االلهـُ عـَلـَيْهـِ وـَ � said, ‘Certainly, Almighty Allah likes that you treat your children (صـَequally even when kissing them.’ (Kanzul Ummal, Hadith 45350)

Some Tips for Parents about Upbringing of Children

Every season has its own specialties and advantages. Innumerable secrets are hidden behind changing of the seasons.Due to the human nature/weakness, the human beings wish for winter in summer and desire for summer in winter. We should encourage our children to thank Almighty Allah no matter what season is going on. Due to the e�ect of winter season, children usually have flu, sore throat, pneumonia and fever. Therefore, in order to protect the children from the e�ect of winter season, parents should:

• Give warm clothes to children, i.e. jacket, sweater, woolen socks and closed-toed shoes.

• Give them warm milk/tea and boiled eggs for breakfast.

• Give them fresh fruits of winter season and dry fruits according to your financial ability.

• In case of travelling by bike, completely cover your child.

• If travelling by car/van, keep the windows shut.

• Ask them to avoid drinking and playing in cool water.

• Give them normal water to drink and lukewarm water for ablution and bath.
