優質旅遊服務計劃巡禮Quality Tourism Services Scheme Road Show

一直以來 , 優質旅遊服務協會致力推廣 「 優質旅遊

服務」計劃,去年於銅鑼灣時代廣場舉辦的「優質旅遊

服務」計劃巡禮反應非常成功,吸引超過六萬名旅客

及市民參觀,因此,協會今年再度聯同香港旅遊發展局

(旅發局),於2013年2月16至24日,在尖沙咀海港城

合辦一連九日的計劃巡禮,讓旅客及廣大市民透過

精彩的舞台節目及展覽,了解計劃給予消費者的信心

保證,以及認證商戶提供的卓越服務。

出席開幕禮的嘉賓者眾,主禮嘉賓包括香港旅遊發展局

主席田北俊議員,GBS, 太平紳士、署理旅遊事務專員

羅淑佩女士,太平紳士、優質旅遊服務協會主席李應生

先生,BBS, MH, 太平紳士、副主席郭少明博士,BBS,

太平紳士及旅發局總幹事劉鎮漢先生,並由優質旅遊

服務推廣大使岑麗香小姐陪同,為巡禮主持啟動儀式。

The Quality Tourism Services Association has been promoting the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme extensively. The QTS Scheme Road Show at Times Square, Causeway Bay in 2012 was a great success and attracted over 60,000 locals and visitors. In view of this, the QTSA and Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) co-organised for the 2nd time a nine-day Road Show at Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour City from 16 to 24 February 2013. With exciting programmes and exhibitions, visitors and locals were able to gain a better understanding of the QTS Scheme and experience the excellent services provided by the accredited merchants.

The opening ceremony of the Road Show was performed by HKTB Chairman The Hon James Tien, GBS, JP, Acting Commissioner for Tourism Miss Rosanna Law, JP, QTSA Chairman Mr Tommy Li, BBS, MH, JP, QTSA Vice-Chairman Dr Simon Kwok, BBS, JP, HKTB Executive Director Mr Anthony Lau and ambassador of the Quality Tourism Services Ms Eliza Sam.

To showcase the diversity of the thousand-strong QTS-accredited merchants, the nine-day event featured a different theme on each of the two consecutive Saturdays and Sundays, namely “Shine & Prestige” (glamorous jewellery and watches show), “Cuisine Cuisine” (Dim Sum Demonstration/Hong Kong Style Dining), “Energy Living” (Health Tips for Four Seasons/Chinese Medicine Basics) and “Trend Lover” (Make-up and Cooking Demonstration). In addition to this, attractive stage programmes were available on weekdays too. E.g. Tai Chi performance, unveiling of celebrity wax figure, China’s National Treasure - Kung Fu performance, Chinese cakes and cookies and introduction to health food. A rich collection of products by QTS-accredited merchants from different sectors were on display to demonstrate Hong Kong’s dynamic shopping and dining experiences. Visitors could obtain further information on the scheme and QTS-accredited merchants from our friendly staff or via the touch screen database at the information kiosk.

The Road Show received strong support from a large number of QTS-accredited merchants and QTSA members, as well as venue sponsorship from Harbour City. The QTSA and HKTB ran a major promotional campaign on TV, newspapers, Weibo (a Chinese micro-blogging site) and HKTB’s website to raise awareness of locals and visitors’ of the Road Show. A star-studded ensemble of celebrity guests attracted big crowds to the Road Show. The nine-day event generated extensive media coverage and successfully achieved the goal of promoting the QTS Scheme.

為求呈現出計劃裡過千間認證商戶的不同特質,九日

巡禮中一連兩個星期六日均有主題亮點節目,包括:

「璀燦.典雅」,展示閃耀瑰麗的珠寶腕錶;「美饌.

共享」,讓大家品嘗師傅現場鮮製的點心;「活力.

健康」,由專家名人介紹中藥與保健產品及四季養生

心 得 ; 「 瑰 麗 . 時 尚 」 , 由 星 級 化 妝 師 示 範 扮 靚

秘訣,以及精彩的廚藝示範。除此之外,還有星期一

至 五 精 彩 且 多 元 化 的 舞 台 表 演 , 包 括 : 養 生 太 極

示範、名人蠟像展示、中國國粹功夫表演、中式餅食

及健康食品介紹,且動且靜,使巡禮生色不少。另外,

會場內放置了近二十個精緻的飾櫃,陳列優質商戶

的精選產品,讓參觀者體驗香港多姿多采的非凡購

物飲食魅力。大會在場內更設置資訊站,由專人介紹

「優質旅遊服務」計劃詳情,參觀者更可透過輕觸

式屏幕瀏覽超過1,300間認證商戶的詳細資料。

巡禮得以順利舉行,除有賴海港城借出場地,並得到

多間「優質旅遊服務」計劃認證商戶及優質旅遊服務

協會會員的積極參與。為引起更多關注,大會透過

電視 、 報 章、廣告、微博及利用旅發局的網站,向

旅客及市民作大肆宣傳。另外,協會亦請來多位紅星

嘉賓到現場助陣 , 包括古明華、

馬賽 、沈卓盈、宋熙年、張秀文、

李綺雯、鐘 舒 漫 等 , 會 場 人 氣 十

足 , 反 應熱烈。九日巡禮獲傳媒

廣泛報道,成功達到宣傳「優質

旅遊服務」計劃的效果。

為加強會員品牌於國內的知名度,並促進中港兩地零售、

餐飲、旅遊服務業界的溝通聯繫,協會一直致力發掘更多內地

平 台予會員商戶。先於2011年4月舉辦「香港優質旅 遊

服 務 品牌中國巡迴展」,分別於上海、重慶、長沙及廣州

進行巡迴展覽。去年3月,協會更獲得湖南衛視邀請,參與

內地最受歡迎的脫口秀「天天向上」。今年3月20日,協會

再次應長沙市政府邀請,組織「長沙市發展項目考察團」,

由協會主席李應生先生,BBS, MH, JP及營商環境關注委員會

主席余壽寧先生,MH率團到訪。

優質旅遊服務協會

長沙市發展項目考察團考察團先參觀橘子洲及傅家洲,再到裕湘紗廠進行考察。裕湘

紗廠是目前長沙城區保存最為完好的工業遺址之一,加上位於

商圈的核心區域,是重要的景觀性標誌及未來重要商業地標。

其後,考察團與當地官員會面,雙方互相交流意見及商討日後

合作空間,團員更藉此了解長沙市在旅遊、經濟等不同方面的

發展。

此行有助宣傳香港優質旅遊服務,促進了兩地融和,為本港

商號在內地發展締造更多發展機會。

In order to strengthen the brand awareness of QTSA members in mainland China and foster relatiohships between the Hong Kong and Mainland’s retail, catering and tourism service industries, the QTSA is committed to open up more channels in the Mainland for members. In April 2011, a Hong Kong QTS Brands Road Show was held in Shanghai, Chongqing, Changsha and Guangzhou. In March 2012, Hunan TV invited the QTSA to participate in the shooting of one of the mainland’s top talk shows “Day Day Up”. On the 20 March, 2013, the Changsha government invited the QTSA again to host a Delegation led by QTSA Chairman Mr. Tommy Li, BBS, MH, JP and Better Business Environment Committee Chairman Mr. Homer Yu, MH.

Delegation to ChangshaThe delegation visited Juzizhou, Fujiazhou and Yuxiang Spinnery. Yuxiang Spinnery is located in the core of the business district and is one of the best persevered industrial sites in Changsha City. It is considered to be a remarkable landscape and commercial landmark in the future. They also met with local government officers to discuss the possibility of future collaboration. The delegation gained a better understanding of the recent developments in the tourism and commerce sectors.

This trade mission has successfully created an opportunity to promote Hong Kong’s quality service, stimulate closer ties between the delegation, mainland officials and the local businesses.

優質美食匯香江Quality Food Fair

香港被譽為「亞洲美食之都」,滿載環球珍饈美食,

令人食指大動。由協會全力支持的「優質美食匯香江」,

2013年1月8至14日期間於青衣城一樓夢幻島大堂

舉行。今次展銷會共有12間會員商戶參與,展出各種

美酒佳餚以供選購,貨品應有盡有,包括:西餅、

零食、糕點、紅酒、港式飲料、鮑參翅肚、冷藏食品、

中成藥、健康食品等等。由於產品選擇多、質素高、

價錢優惠,現場更特設免費試食,絡繹不絕的人潮

從早到晚都擠滿整個會場。

為營造更熾熱的氣氛,大會在週末期間安排「優質旅遊

服務」計劃宣傳活動、美酒和牛試食、港式婚禮習俗

簡介等精彩舞台節目,由歌手羅力威、港姐冠軍楊婉儀

及亞姐亞軍黎淑賢等演藝紅星助陣,吸引大批觀眾。

大會精心策劃首屆「香港蛋撻王競食大賽」可觀性

十足,由參賽經驗豐富的「大胃王」 Johnny奪冠,

他在5分鐘內鯨吞50件港式酥皮蛋撻,輕易擊敗其他

6位對手。

除了為消費者帶來豐盛的購物體驗,協會希望透過今次

活動向消費者灌輸「優質旅遊服務」計劃的正面訊息,

同時也能夠提高會員品牌的知名度,並且開拓更多

商機。

Renowned as the culinary capital of Asia, Hong Kong is the place for indulging in flavours from around the world. Supported by the QTSA, the Quality Food Fair was held from 8 to 14 January 2013 at Fantasy Island, 1/F, Maritime Square, Tsing Yi. Twelve QTSA member merchants joined the Fair and presented an amazing array of confectionary and cakes, wines, Hong Kong-style beverages, dried seafood, frozen food, Chinese herbal and tonic food, health food, etc. Shoppers took advantage of the wide choice of food, high quality products, good value and free tasting opportunities that were available throughout the day and night.

The bustling Fair reached boiling point during the weekend when special events were held to promote the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme. Cooking demonstrations, wine tasting and sharing of local wedding customs were all part of the star-studded stage programme that attracted a large crowd of spectators. One of the highlight events was the first Hong Kong Egg Tart Eating Contest. Mr Johnny Wu – a well-known figure in the local eating competition scene, was the undisputable champion. He wowed the other six competitors and spectators by sliding 5�0 egg tarts effortlessly down his throat within five short minutes.

The Fair provided consumers with a myriad of shopping delights and created new business opportunities for the participating merchants. The Fair promoted a positive message for the QTS Scheme and enhanced our members’ profile.

為提倡優質營商手法、鞏固香港服務業的誠信形象,

協會聯同香港警務處油尖警區、香港海關及油尖旺區

撲滅罪行委員會於2013年1月9日携手舉辦「優質營商

在香港」宣傳日。

優質旅遊服務協會主席李應生先生,BBS, MH, JP、營商

環境關注委員會主席余壽寧先生,MH、2013優質營商

在香港宣傳日籌委會主席Manu Melwani先生,MH, JP,

聯同香港警務處尖沙咀分區指揮官高樸安警司、香港

海關版權及商標調查(行動)課監督關煜群博士、

油尖旺區撲滅罪行委員會主席陳少棠先生,MH及消費者

委員會總幹事黃鳳嫻女士,於尖沙咀The ONE露天廣場

一起主持啟動儀式。緊隨其後一眾嘉賓與協會執行

委員會委員與油尖旺區滅罪會委員沿彌敦道向商戶及

消費者派發宣傳單張及宣傳品,期望業界各方透過

是次活動發揮強大的夥伴合作優勢。

Following the ceremony, the QTSA Governing Council Members joined the Police to carry out a patrol along Nathan Road.

industry, said QTSA Chairman Mr Tommy Li. The QTSA is also committed to protect consumer rights being a longstanding supporter of the crime prevention measures implemented by the Police, Customs and District Fight Crime Committee.

In the interests of safeguarding the rights of consumers and trade mark owners, the Customs has been persistently advocating “No Fakes” and promoting public awareness of intellectual property rights. According to the Police, illegal touting is not rampant in Hong Kong. In 2012, there were only two such cases reported, which were referred by the Hong Kong Tourism Board and another organisation to the law enforcement body. Nonetheless, the Police call upon victims of touts to report the crime proactively.

The Consumer Council welcomes the passing of the Trade Ordinance (Amendment) by the Legislative Council in July 2012, which has expanded the scope of regulation of common trade malpractices from goods to services and provided further protection of consumer rights. The Council believes the vast majority of merchants obey the law and carry out their businesses honestly. The Amendment is only designed to crack down on offenders and create a fair business environment. The Council calls for the business sector to support the implementation of the Amendment.

消 費 者 權 益 深 表 關 注 , 多 年 來 與 香 港 警 務 處 油 尖

警區、香港海關及油尖旺區撲滅罪行委員會合作無間。

香港海關部門一直提倡正版正貨,致力保護知識產權,

以保障消費者和知識產權持有人的權益。另外,香港

警務處表示去年油尖警區接獲共2宗由香港旅遊發展局

等機構向警方轉介的非法招徠投訴,反映有關問題雖然

存在,但並不算嚴重。為了更有效執法,呼籲受滋擾的

消費者向警方舉報非法招徠行為。

對於立法會於去年7月通過《商品說明條例》中有關

不良營商手法的修訂,消費者委員會表示非常高興,

因為有關修定不但將條例規管的範圍由貨品擴展至

服務,更明確禁止一些常見的不良營商手法,進一步

保障消費者權益。消委會相信絕大部分的商戶都殷實

經營,遵循法規,並且會自律地採納良好的營商手法。

《商品說明條例》的修訂旨在打擊少數害群之馬,以免

消費者權益受損害,進而締造一個公平的營商環境,

希望商界對法例的執行予以支持。

陳志輝教授,SBS,JP於2005年加入協會執行委員會

擔任協會顧問,亦多次為協會一年一度重點活動 ––

「翹楚匯」經驗分享會擔任嘉賓主持。去年,協會於

周年晚宴上,特意頒發特別貢獻獎予陳教授,以表揚

陳教授一直以來在協會培訓工作上的努力。

陳教授研究市場營銷多年,雖然學術界有眾多市場學理

論,現實中亦有不少營商之道,但他認為關鍵在於找

出問題所在,再以理論為基礎,輔以針對性的實務行

動,理論及實踐相輔相成,才能達到最大成效。

陳教授亦兼任行政人員工商管理碩士(EMBA)課程主任,

其課程更於《金融時報》2012年的EMBA排行榜中,

名列全球第十七,連續十二年位列全球二十名內,亦是

亞太地區排名第一的獨立EMBA課程,成績驕人。

被問及成功之道,陳教授謙稱:「與其說成功,不如說

課程滿足到學生、僱主、社會人士的期望,如增長專業

知識、提升工作實務技巧、建立關係網絡等。課程

能有此成績,實有賴中大工商學院、同事們及學生一直

以來的努力,還有學院的課程顧問及傑出校友們多年來

的支持。」

Prof. Andrew Chan, SBS, JP has served the QTSA Governing Council since 2005� and currently serves as an adviser. He has been the guest moderator of “Sharing of Business Elites” for many years. In the QTSA Annual Dinner 2012, Prof. Andrew Chan was the recipient of the Special Contribution Award honouring his enormous contribution to the QTSA training programmes.

Prof. Chan is an expert in marketing. Although there are lots of marketing theories and business practices, Prof. Chan believes that the key is to find out the crux of the problem, and then integrates the theory with practices. This is the way to generate the biggest effect.

He is also Director of EMBA Program at CUHK. In the Financial Times’ global survey of worldwide EMBA Programs, it ranked CUHK’s No. 17 in 2012. The Program has been consistently ranked high amongst the world’s top 20 EMBA programs and all independent EMBA programs in the Asia-Pacific.

While talking about the success of the course, Prof. Chan said modestly, “It seems to be able to fulfill the expectations of students, employers and the community. After completing the course, they are able to develop their knowledge, make headway with working skills and to build up a network. Furthermore, we owe this result to the dedication of our faculty, staff and students, and to the consistent support given by the advisors and alumni in the business community.”

To be successful, a company has to analysis the current market situation, have the foresight to plan in order to seize every opportunity. Prof. Chan believes that working in a particular environment for a long period of time, people may neglect to respond to market changes, not to mention catching on to future trends. This will end up causing a slow-down of the companies development.

QTSA’s “Sharing of Business Elites” promotes the importance of perspective as the event brings top business leaders together to share their experiences and inspiration in business management. This may encourage members to make necessary changes. The event enables participants to make enquiries on behalf of their companies. Through interaction, the participants will enhance their knowledge of business operation and will hopefully be inspired to come up with development trends.

This sharing of information has been established for many years and has become one of the most remarkable events to Prof. Chan, especially topics related to corporate image and team spirit building which requires close communication between management and staff. Through sharing, lots of outstanding leaders have been introduced. They are able to scan the market trends and lead their team forward by setting individual strategies through experiences and market research.

As an adviser, Prof. Chan appreciates the hard work of the QTSA chairman, governing council members and staff over these years. He is confident that the QTSA will succeed in the face of the many challenges ahead. The QTSA continues to maintain a close communication with industries, understanding the needs of members and developing their uniqueness, whilst assisting members to establish a teamwork spirit among colleagues and improving service to the customers. Besides, the interaction between members and participants in the QTSA forums, workshops and training activities will help strengthen and enhance the services quality.

最受歡迎的賀歲節目之一 – 「新春國際匯演之夜」

已經來到第18屆,今年匯演的主題是「開心香港.環球

派對」。2月10日大年初一晚,尖沙咀鬧市化身繽紛

嘉年華會,13架設計獨特的花車隊伍,加上36組來自

14個國家及本地的專業表演團隊送上精彩絕倫的演出,

令旅客及市民樂在其中。

今年是優質旅遊服務協會第四次參與匯演,並聯同

十一家「優質旅遊服務」計劃認證商戶合組以「國際

華麗舞台 優質品牌薈萃」作主題的特色花車,與

旅客及市民共度新歲。花車如聚寶盤般盛載由優質

商戶精挑細選的貨品及美饌佳餚,薈聚觀眾的目光,

同時亦代表香港零售、餐飲及服務業全心全意為旅客

提供最優質及最難忘的旅程,盡顯香港「亞洲國際

都會」的超凡地位,並祝願香港在2013年,經濟

飛躍、百業昌盛。除此之外,協會更邀請城中著名的

夏國璋龍獅團到場舞獅助慶,色彩繽紛的閃燈獅子

配以強勁鼓樂將現場的喜慶氣氛推至頂點。

另外,香港鐘表業總會聯同八家鐘錶珠寶零售商第三度

派出花車,一起宣揚優質旅遊服務精神,代理德國孖人

牌廚具的昌興(1917)有限公司屬首次參與隊伍。

為延續佳節的歡樂氣氛,匯演結束後,花車一連兩星期

於大埔林村許願廣場展出,讓旅客及市民近距離欣賞

花車。

協會成功透過新春國際匯演,向本地以至全球電視

觀眾宣揚「優質旅遊服務」計劃,並提升協會及會員

知名度。協會衷心感謝認證商戶的贊助及參與這次

匯演,展示對香港旅遊業的大力支持。協會會繼續

The International Chinese New Year Night Parade, one of the best-loved events of the entire Chinese New Year Celebrations, has entered its 18th

year. It was staged on 10 February 2013. The bustling Tsim Sha Tsui area was transformed into a giant carnival. This year’s theme was “happy@Hong Kong”. With 13 brightly coloured floats and 36 international / local performing groups, visitors and locals alike all enjoyed the spectacular show.

To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake, the QTSA made an appearance at the Parade for the fourth consecutive year. The Association teamed up with eleven quality merchants to form a dazzling stage titled “Quality Brands, A World of Glamour”, adorned with fascinating products and delicacies showcasing the quality and unforgettable journey of shopping, dining and entertainment privileges available in Hong Kong to our audience. The float further highlighted Hong Kong’s unique status as “Asia’s World City” and wishes Hong Kong a tremendously prosperous Year of the Snake. To add further delight, the QTSA invited the famed Ha Tak Kin Martial Art Society to stage a spectacular Lion Dance performance. Fuelled by a strong drum beat and colourful lions with flashing lights, the festive atmosphere along the streets reached boiling point.

The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries is working with eight watch and jewellery retailers to promote the spirit of quality services by participating in the Parade for the third time. Zwilling J.A. Henckels represented by Cheong Hing Store Ltd made her first parade appearance.

After the parade, the floats were exhibited at Lam Tsuen, Tai Po for two weeks, offering visitors and locals the perfect opportunity to get up close and extend the joy of the Parade.

The QTSA has successfully leveraged on the parade which was watched by a worldwide TV audience to promote both locally and internationally the QTS Scheme and enhance the profile of the Association and its members. The QTSA would like to express its sincere thanks to all the merchants who generously sponsored the float and is delighted to have had the opportunity to show its support of the tourism industry. The QTSA will continue to open up new channels for members to explore more promotional opportunities.

The briefing helped participants to further understand the Amendment Ordinance. They raised questions focusing on price indication, after-sale service and country of origin. 《2012年商品說明(不良營商手法)(修訂)條例》簡介會 Briefing on the “Trade Descriptions (Unfair Trade Practices) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012”

《2012商品說明(不良營商手法)(修訂)條例》(《修訂條例》)已於去年七月十七日在立法會通過。《修訂條例》為現有的《商品

說明條例》作出修訂,禁止不良商戶使用訂明不良營商手法針對消費者及加強執法機制。為了提高會員對《修訂條例》的認識及

警覺性以避免誤墮法網,協會於本年3月14日就有關《修訂條例》的《執法指引》擬稿舉行簡介會,邀請香港海關貿易管制處代表

詳細講解五種打擊不良營商手法的新條文,並誠邀會員參與討論。

The Trade Descriptions (Unfair Trade Practices) (Amendment) Ordinance 2012 (“Amendment Ordinance”) was enacted by the Legislative Council on 17 July 2012. The Amendment Ordinance amends the existing Trade Descriptions Ordinance (“TDO”) to prohibit specified unfair trade practices that may be deployed against consumers and strengthens the enforcement mechanism. To promote members’ awareness of the fair trading sections of the Amendment Ordinance and encourage their greater vigilance to prevent the commission of the prohibited acts, a briefing session on the draft Enforcement Guidelines of the Amendment Ordinance was held on 14 March, 2013. The briefing was presented by representatives of the Trade Controls Branch of the Customs and Excise Department. Among others, five types of unfair trade practices prohibited under the Amendment Ordinance were introduced and members were invited to give views during the briefing session.

五種不良營商手法的新條文 Five New Prohibitions against Unfair Trade Practices:

誤導性遺漏 Misleading Omissions如商戶未能就產品向消費者提供充分的資料,足以讓消費者作出有根據的交易決定,他們將面臨觸犯誤導性遺漏罪行的風險。

Traders run the risk of misleading omissions if they fail to give consumers sufficient information about the product that is necessary for them to make an informed transactional decision

具威嚇性的營業行為 Aggressive Commercial Practices商戶不得使用騷擾、威迫手段或施加不當影響,因而限制或損害消費者在選擇及行為方面的自由,並導致或相當可能導致該

消費者作出某項交易決定,而如該消費者沒有接觸該營業行為,該消費者是不會作出該項交易決定的。

Traders must not use harassment, coercion, and undue influence to restrict or impair the freedom of choice or conduct of consumers, which will cause or likely cause consumers to make a transactional decision that would not have been made otherwise.

餌誘式廣告宣傳 Bait Advertising凡按某指明價格宣傳產品,商戶應確保能在合理期間內供應合理數量的產品。

When advertising products at a specified price, traders should ensure that the products are available for a reasonable period and in quantities that are reasonable.

先誘後轉銷售行為 Bait and switch商戶不得就有關產品作出按指明價格的購買邀請,而其後出於促銷不同的產品的意圖而拒絕展示或示範使用有關產品、拒絕

接受有關產品的訂單或示範使用有關產品的欠妥樣本。

Traders must not make an invitation to purchase a product at a specified price and then refuse to show or demonstrate the product, refuse to take orders for the product, or demonstrate a defective sample of the product, with the intention of promoting a different product.

不當地接受付款 Wrongly accepting payment商戶在接受付款時如無意圖供應有關產品,或意圖供應其他產品,或沒有合理理由相信他將能在協定的時間或合理的時間

內,供應有關產品,便不得就有關貨品接受付款。

A trader must not accept payments for a product if at the time of accepting the payments, he does not intend to supply it or intends to supply another product, or if there are no reasonable grounds for believing that he will be able to supply it at the agreed time or within a reasonable time.

有鑑於上年11月開辦的「行政人員迷你MBA課程」得到會員商戶的踴躍支持,

協會特意在2013年1月再度開課,並誠邀經驗豐富的專業培訓顧問李思明博士

Dr. Jackia Lee再次擔任導師。

本課程為期三天,專門為管理層及行政人員而籌劃,李博士特意設計深入淺出的

例子,具啟發性的模擬個案,以及創意小遊戲,讓學員更能掌握課程中教授的

管理學理論及概念,應用於日常生活的技巧,以及評估服務整體表現的方法。

學員可透過完成課程後,可銜接公開大學的課程及培訓師培訓課程等。

學員們對於李博士悉心設計的課程內容表示極之滿意,不但踴躍發言,互相交換

意見,表現非常投入,而且十分珍惜今次能夠與不同行業精英交流的難得機會。

部分參加者更希望協會日後多舉辦有關服務業人手培訓的課程。

In view of the great support received from members for the “Mini-MBA for executives” workshop held in November 2012, the QTSA launched the workshop for the 2nd time in January 2013. It was our pleasure to have Dr. Jackia Lee, a seasoned professional training consultant, to be the guest speaker at the workshop again.

This 3-day course was tailor made for management and senior executives. Through examples, case studies and games, the participants gained a better understanding of management models and theories, master the techniques to apply them in daily life and how to evaluate the overall performance of their business. Upon the completion of the Mini-MBA for executives workshop, graduates may move on to other programmes from the Open University of Hong Kong and the Train-the-Trainer programme, etc.

All participants highly praised the workshop which had been well designed by Dr. Jackia Lee. They were happy to share their knowledge and opinions and have been extremely devoted and enthusiastic about the programme which has proved to be a rare and much treasured opportunity for high-flyers from different spheres of the industry to come and learn together. Some participants asked the QTSA to organise seminars on training for the Hospitality industry in the future.

會議廳舉行「『孫子兵法』之留強將、建強隊」研討會,

由具備超過十五年專業培訓顧問及行政管理經驗的

分享「孫子兵法」中留住人才的要訣。

In light of this, the QTSA organised the “To retain talent and build a strong team with Sun Zi wisdom” Seminar at the HKPC Building Conference Hall on 10 January 2013. Presented by Dr. Jackia Lee, a Professional Training Consultant with over 15� years consultation experience in training and management, the seminar covered the main tips of retaining top talent.

Hong Kong is not only a destination for superb dining and shopping but also the best place in Asia to experience the fascinating traditional Chinese culture.

To further enhance the travel experience of visitors, Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) will launch the ‘Hong Kong Cultural Celebrations’ (1-31 May 2013) for the fourth time, which leverages on four colourful traditional Chinese festivals in May, namely the Birthday of Tin Hau (2 May), Cheung Chau Bun Festival (14-18 May) and the Birthdays of Lord Buddha and Tam Kung (17 May) to showcase the city’s vibrant living culture.

During the Birthday of Tin Hau, there will be a large scale parade and Fa Pau Procession at Yuen Long. Visitors will also have the opportunity to bath the Buddha at the Birthday of Lord Buddha. ‘Floating Colours’ parade and Bun Scrambling Competition of Cheung Chau Bun Festival, Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage, will take place on 17 May. The Birthday of Tam Kung also falls on the same day and visitors can soak up the atmosphere of dragon dance and street parade dedicated to Tam Kung in Shau Kei Wan.

最近,奶粉變成中港兩地的熱門議題,政府更特別將

嬰幼兒奶粉列入禁制出口的商品,祗豁免每人每24小

時可攜帶1.8公斤出境;而出口方面,更限制祗允許有

入口證明的貿易商在申請出口許可證出口。

政府執着以先訂立後審議形式頒佈《2013年進出口

(一般)(修訂)規例》的理據是香港在農曆新年前出

現“奶粉短缺”,因此“有需要立法保障香港的BB

買到奶粉”。可是,香港市場真的出現“奶粉短缺”嗎?

儘管在農曆新年之前是出現“買不到奶粉”或“買奶

粉難”的現象,但祗限於部分地區的零售店和某兩個

品牌的奶粉;整體而言,香港市場並沒有出現政府

執着立法限制出境的“奶粉荒”!祗是,在部分傳媒

的報道宣傳下,慣常會恐慌搶購的香港人,當然不

會“執輸”,多買兩箱儲備放在家中。在這情況下,

零售市場的正常供應肯定會失調!

其實,在香港市場上出售的各個品牌嬰幼兒奶粉,

在內地都有出售。但由於香港靠着售賣“正版正貨”

產品在國際和內地建立了聲譽,吸引了內地消費者、

母親和家人來港採購可靠的商品,對香港而言是一件

好事。政府的數字顯示,供3歲以下嬰幼兒食用的

奶粉,在2008年前的進口每年維持在1,500萬公斤,

但自2012年開始激增近兩倍至4,400萬公斤。反映

供應商已經增加進口以滿足內地消費者在港採購的需

要,也為零售業帶來更多生意。

一張禁制令,令香港的自由港聲名受損,更有可能

違反香港基本法和世界貿易組織條款;供應商和零售

商生意減少自然不在話下,但法例卻沒有保障香港的

嬰幼兒一定會奶粉供應不斷!一條令各方各面都變成

輸家的法例,為何還要保留呢?

Baby milk powder has become the latest and hottest issue in the mainland and Hong Kong. The Government has passed new legislation prohibiting anyone leaving Hong Kong for less than 24 hours to carry infant milk formula exceeding 1.8 kg. Only those who have been issued with export permits will be allowed to bring such products out of Hong Kong.

Government argued that the regulation took effect before it was scrutinized by Legco was justified due to the acute shortage of baby formula during the Chinese New Year. It was therefore necessary to introduce the ban to protect local residents and to ensure availability of the product in the market. The question though is whether the shortage of milk powder is real or otherwise.

Even though there was some shortage of milk power supply in the market during the Chinese New Year, the shortage was seen only on two brands and in certain districts. There was no milk power shortage in the overall market. However with news spreading across the media and feeding into the rumour mill, consumers who were driven by fear went on a buying spree to snap up the product in the market. Under such a scenario, the supply of milk power of course would face shortage and the market would be distorted.

In fact, many of the milk powder brands sold in Hong Kong are also available in the mainland market. But the international reputation of Hong Kong retailers selling only goods that are genuine and authentic have proved to be a major attraction for mainland consumers. The flood of mothers into Hong Kong to buy reliable goods is a positive attribute for us. According to Government statistics, the volume of milk powder products for infants under 36 months which was imported into Hong Kong has been fairly steady prior to 2008 at around 1,5�00 kg a year. But the figure surged drastically starting from 2012 to nearly double the previous record reaching 4,400 kg. This shows that importers have already increased substantially their import to meet the demand of mainland consumers. Local retailers naturally also benefited with such brisk sales.

The consequences of this piece of legislation were plenty: our reputation as a free port was somewhat tarnished, we may even be accused of breaching the WTO regulations and suppliers and retailers were impacted too with reduced business. If the prohibition results in a loss-loss situation for all parties and does not guarantee supply of milk formula for local mothers, what’s the point of retaining it?

信先生,了解這個經典品牌創新改革的故事。

開通的黃老先生明白,老字號要與時並

進,勇於求變,才可以吸納更多新客源。

另外,奇華更把經典傳統中式餅食重新定位,

配以本地著名藝術家阿虫設計的禮盒,包裝成能夠代

表香港的地道手信。這次改革廣受好評,不但大大提

高自家品牌的知名度,其廣告意念及口號創新,窩心

感人,牽動了香港人內心的一份情。

時代在變,奇華亦創新求變,但黃嘉信先生重申,對

食物質素的嚴格要求則七十五年來始終不變,這樣才

能維持品牌地位。奇華致力提供優質服務予顧客,剛剛

在2月參加「優質旅遊服務」計劃巡禮,就為大眾介紹

中式傳統餅食,以及由造餅師傅即席示範造餅技巧,

觀眾反應非常熱烈。黃先生認為自參加「優質旅遊

服務」計劃後,大大增加了品牌的曝光率,也締造

了更多會員商戶間的交流機會。

Traditional Chinese Pastries Shop Kee Wah Bakery has over 75� years of history. From a small neighborhood grocery store on Shanghai Street, it has now grown into an internationally acclaimed bakery enterprise. Having been passed from generation to generation along with their hard work has been the keys to success. QTS News recently spoke to Mr. Karlson Wong, the Sales and Marketing Director about the story of re-branding the Kee Wah Bakery.

Kee Wah strived to retain its traditional values while applying modern management concepts during the development process. An old trademark has now successfully transformed into a brand in which tradition is in harmony with modern style.

A great deal of importance has been placed on the brand image and packaging from a customer perspective, with this in mind Mr. Kevin Wong, son of Mr. Wong Yip Wing the founder, decided to add new elements when revamping the corporate image. Kee Wah went through an image overhaul that included changing the corporate identity, product packaging

and outlet interior designs. “You changed my Chang-O goddess into an old man!” said Mr. Wong Yip Wing when he saw the new

packaging design – changing the classic mooncake paper packaging into a gold-black tin box with a Chinese Emperor on it. The fact is Mr. Wong was open-minded enough to understand that the old trademark had to lead the innovation

and be changed to attract more customers.

Besides, Kee Wah has re-positioned traditional Chinese pastries as gift items that can represent Hong Kong with gift boxes designed

by Ah Chung the well-known local artist. The revamp has been widely appreciated and the visibility of the corporate brand is highly enhanced. The pioneering idea and tagline of the advertisement is heart-warming that touches the hearts of Hong Kong people.

Kee Wah has always moved with the times. Mr. Karlson Wong reaffirmed that the strict requirement on the quality of food has remained unchanged for the past 75� years. This is undoubtedly of key importance to reinforce the dominance of the brand. Kee Wah is devoted to provide quality services and products to its customers. In February 2013, it participated in the “Quality Tourism Services Scheme Road Show” in which Chinese pastry demonstration was staged. The audience was very impressed. Mr. Karlson Wong was pleased that the scheme has increased the exposure of Kee Wah and provided an opportunity to communicate with members.

監控亦極之嚴謹,嚴格遵守法例要求,所有海產都附有

詳盡的食物標籤,確保「鮮入鮮出」,讓客人品嘗到新鮮

As a restaurant with a strong reputation, providing quality services, Lippo Chiuchow Restaurant has always committed to provide the most conventional taste of Chiuchow dishes. In 2008, Lippo was accredited by the Quality Tourism Services (QTS) Scheme. The restaurant participated in the “Quality Tourism Services Scheme Road Show” held in February 2013 at which a dim sum demonstration was staged. The audience was very impressed. QTSA News recently spoke to the executive chef – Mr. Ng Wing Fung and Mr. Ng Wing Sing, Ms. Clare Chan, the Assistant Admin and PR Manager and the management of the restaurant about their business experience.

Chiuchow cuisine is well known for its seafood dishes. Poached cold crab, lobster, marinated goose and fish rice are the signature dishes of Lippo. It also selectively provides distinctive Cantonese dishes and fusion dishes to fit different customers’ tastes, said Mr. Ng Wing Fung.

Lippo is confident that its brand will succeed in the face of competition; said Ms. Chan. Apart from the superb cooking skills of the executive chef, Lippo emphasises excellence in quality control of the ingredients and abides strictly to the food labeling regulations in order to ensure the freshness of the produce and ingredients. Lippo also attaches great importance to customer service, ensuring professionalism and dedication from its staff.

With this customer-oriented approach and by responding to the increasing awareness of healthy dining, Lippo joined the “[email protected]” campaign. While retaining the rich flavor associated with Chiuchow cuisine, Lippo trys its best to minimise the use of oil, salt and sugar taking into account the growing awareness in healthy dining in Hong Kong. Moreover, Lippo became a pioneer of the Chinese restaurant sector by having a sommelier who offers professional advice to match the appropriate wines with the dishes.

Ms. Chan said the QTS-accreditation was a seal of honour for Lippo’s good work and commitment to quality services. This encourages the frontline staff to react to customers’ needs more efficiently and effectively thereby providing quality services. The scheme is well recognised by both visitors and locals. Ms. Chan sees the accreditation as a lift to the corporate image which will help to attract more customers and spread its branding throughout the region.
