Chrysler Group, LLC P.O. Box 21-8004 Auburn Hills, Michigan 48321-8004

To Whom it May Concern:

We are writing to notify you of the problems we are experiencing with our 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4, VIN# 552.130 and to request that you correct this problem within thirty (30) days of your receipt of this letter.

We purchased our vehicle from Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi, Texas on or about September 11, 2014. Approximately three weeks after the purchase: 1. We began having trouble with a vibration in the steering wheel when driving at slow speeds 2. rough riding and loud road noise coming from rear end 3. grinding sound in front end when we stepped on the brake, and 4. the fuel door at first would pop open when riding down the road and then wouldn't stay closed at all. We let them know when we took it in for an oil change, and they said we had to make an appointment to bring it back in for all of the issues we had with it. After the oil change, 5. it was leaking oil excessively, leaving large oil spots on the driveway. We took the vehicle back to the dealer for repairs on October 22, 2014, October 27, 2014, November 5, 2014, January 8,2015, and January 22, 2015 but, to date, the dealer has been unable to correct the problems. Attached are copies of the repair orders which document the dealership's attempt to repair our vehicle.

These problems both substantially impairs the use and value of our vehicle, and creates a serious safety hazard. Therefore, if you and/or the dealer are unable to correct these problems, we will expect you to repurchase the vehicle pursuant to Chapter 2301, Subchapter M of the Texas Occupations Code Annotated,

Please contact us on receipt of this letter at the above address or telephone number to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for you to have an opportunity to inspect my vehicle and make any necessary repairs.

Sincerely,

John L. & Mary R. Downey

10/22/14 - Today took Jeep in for the "recall" notice, the rear shock absorber suspension. Also, to have them fix the problems we are having. Most important, is the oil leak that we have now. Seems to be a vibration in the steerin vheel and Jeen is rough riding when driving down the road. Feels like riding in a wagon. Service advisor, Celeste, just rolls her eyes when V.T tell her the problems we are haying.

Got a rental vehicle from Enterprise. Picked Jeen un on 10/24/14. Lithia had the Jeen tbr 3 days. Got it back and still had ail of the 7,T!nie prehleins Niothingod

I started to walk out the door and he stopped me and said that if I would just give him 20 minutes he would have the service department to put it on the machine again and check it nut I told the GM all of the problems that we have heen having since nctoher (hessitation when taking off and when trying to pass other vehicles, oil still leaking, and the loud roar when reaching speeds of 40 - 60 mph) Within about 30 minutes, Enterprise Rental was calling saying that they had a car ready for its. 1 talked to the CiM and told him we had received that phone call and he told me that they were going to install a "flight recorder" and start a STAR report. We went and picked up the rental car and had doctor appointments to go to. Just as we were about to head home, we slot- a call from Lithia saying that the Jeep was ready. That was at about 4!00. I was told that the machine once again showed that nothing was wrong and that they wanted us to drive the. Jeep for about 200 miles with the fliuht recorder on it.

1/26/15 - Shawn called to tell us that our Jeep was ready. He said that he talked to someone at Lithia and they said it ‘‘a!= read\ to be picked tin. That's stramle. we have the Jeep.
