Dear Sir,

Please refer to your above cited letters regarding trial run and finalising the positive COS for ETC

implementation. The inspection of Sikandra Toll Plaza and Rajadhok Toll Plaza was done by ourToll System Specialist between 06.05.2015 to 15.05.2015. The inspection report is enclosed foryour perusal and necessary action please.

As per the inspection report of the Toll System Specialist the ETC system for its implementation is

not ready so far. During the inspection of the Toll Plazas, the trial run at one dedicated lane forETC at Rajadhok Toll Plaza was given. The trial run at other dedicated lanes for ETC at Rajadhok

and Sikandra Toll Plazas was not given.

You are requested to take necessary action for completing the work of ETC implementation.atboth Toll Plazas in all respect at the earliest and report compliance as it is in high priority of pMO.

SITE INSPECTION AND OBSERVATION REPORT

The present observation on the visit of Rajadhok & Sikandra Toll plaza is as follows:

* ln my last visit it was seen that the installation process of ETC equipments at both toll plazaswere in progress' At that time the Concessionaire's representative told that the installation ofETC equipments would be completed within first week of March and then ETC Lanes startworking.

But in this visit I have found that there is no any improvement in ETC installation work. Allequipments for ETC lanes are not installed till now. The details of equipments installation atRajadhok Toll Plaza is given below.

* After several visit of toll plazas, the Concessionaire has given a trial run of vehicle in one laneonly at Raiadhok Toll plaza for showing that Tag is read by the RFID reader. yes, it is read byRFID reader but the processing time is very slow. Due to that the traffic light signals becominggreen when vehicle reaches to first traffic light post. The response time should be reduced sothat when vehicle touch the first loop and tag read by reader, traffic light should be green for avalid tag and vehicle will pass without any disturbance.

The Concessionaire is not in a position to give the trial run of ETC lanes at Sikandara Toil plaza.

The Over Head Lane Signal of all lanes at both toll plazas is working properly.

Some User Fare Display and traffic light at Rajadhok Toll Plaza and also at Sikandra Toll plaza arenot working. The Concessionaire has been instructed to rectify the problems of UFD and TrafficLight immediately and make sure that it should be always in working condition.
