WHEREAS by subsection (7) of section 36 of "The Public Senice Act, 1904" (Act No. 40 of 1904), the Governor may, by 01'(1er in Council, temporarily suspend the operation of subsections two, three, and four of the said section, in respect of any office specified: And whereas it is desirable to temporarily suspend the operation of such subsection8 in respect of the employ­ment of the following temporary officers:

WHEREAS by Section 96 of "The Roads Act, 1902," it is provided that, snbject to the provisions of "The Permanent Rtiserves Act, 1899," the Governor may place any Bublic Reserve under the control and manage­ment of n Road Board, and that for the purpose of con­trolling 01' managing such Reserve the Board shall have all the pO\\'er of a Board of Parks and Reserves ap­pointed under "'1'he Parks and Reserves Act, 1895," together with the powers conferred by "The Roads Act, 1902": And whereas it is expedient that Reserve 6967, Recreation Ground, Kellerberrin, should be placed under the control and management of the Kellerberrin Road Board: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Gov­ernor, by and with the advice and consent of the Ex­ecutive Council, and in exercise of the power conferrec1 by the recited section of "The Roads Act, 1902," doth hereby place the said Reserve nnder the control and management of the Kellerberrin Road Board, the pre­vious Order in Council appointing certain Trustees be­ing hereby cancelled.

Revision of the Commission. Premier's Office, Perth,

P.O. 34/1909. 19th February, 1909. ·WITH a view to a complete revision of the Commiss.ion of the Peace for Western Australia, the Honourable the Premier desires that the following requests, unless already attended to by those concerned, should receive attention as promptly as possible:-

(a.) That all gentlemen who have ceased to reside in the respective Magisterial Districts for which they were appointed to the Commis· sion of the Peace should forward their re­signations to the Premier's Office, Perth.

(b.) That all gentlemen who have been appointed to the Commission of the Peace, and who for any reason are unable to· continue to per­form the duties appertaining to such office, should forward their resignations to the Premier's Office, Perth.

(c.) That all gentlemen who have been appointed to the Commission of the Peace for the whole of the State or any particular Magis­terial District should furnish their present general and postal address to the Premier's Office, Perth.

The new Commission will be prepared after full con­siderati,m has been given to the communications reo ceived from the various portions of the State, and will be submitted in due course for the approval of His Excellency the Governor in Council.
