For surveillance missions and covert operations, SFC Energy supplies fuel cells for vehicle integration. The EFOY ProCube is an outdoors-compatible box that has the fuel cell, tank cartridge and battery integrated into it. The EFOY ProCube can be used temporarily, e.g. on con-struction sites, or permanently in hard-to-access areas.

Since the number of charging devices can now be reduced to one (SFC Power Manager 3G), the amount of storage space available to the user increases. The SFC Power Manager 3G is being used by the US Air Force, the Ger-man Bundeswehr and many other defence organisations. The portable JENNY 1200 fuel cells with a nominal power of 50 Watt is based on the multi-award-win-ning DMFC technology from SFC Energy for defence and security applications. EFOY tank cartridges Seamless supply of materials and simple logisticsAll fuel cells from SFC Energy use methanol to operate. SFC energy has established a highly efficient, international tank cartridge logistics network for the rapid, convenient supply of this material to fuel cell users. High-purity methanol is needed to operate fuel cells. To conserve this high material purity, SFC Energy has the methanol poured into EFOY tank cartridges, which are developed and safety-tested especially for the company. Every filling operation is monitored by SFC’s quality management team. The tank cartridges are available in 5, 10, 28 and 60 litre sizes and in special sizes of 0.35 and 2.5 litres. The high energy density of methanol means that EFOY tank cartridges deliver a lot of energy in a very small space.
