• Coach Jon Gruden made this concept famous with his ”Spider 2 Y-Banana” play concept

• Play-Action fake: Made to look like zone run

• QB Reverse Boot

• Simple read concept: Through the ball to the back or the backside under route

• The typical combination consist of • “A back into the short flats ( #1 receiver in the progression)• Backside under crossing/under ( #2 receiver in the progression)• 3rd level WR is the “Alert” receiver on a corner route or deep comeback
