Thank you to all the people who signed up to give blood. American Red Cross needs more blood around the holidays because there is generally a shortage of donors at this time of the year.

Special thanks to everyone who brought food for the workers, people who volunteered to greet, do intake, escort and serve people. Many thanks to people who helped set up and take down. It was a great day, the American Red Cross staff personally thanked us for the "Great Day and the Wonderful Meal!”

Our goal was 66 units. Total units of blood given were 65. Eight double red for 15 units, whole blood 50 units. We had 8 deferrals and some self deferrals who had signed up and knew they would be deferred.

American Red Cross says that our 65 units can help up to 195 patients.

Thank You for Your Help in Making this event a huge success!

CHILDREN’S BLESSINGOn the first Sunday of the month, when we celebrate communion, we wantto take a moment to give our blessing to the children. So, instead of a lesson thismorning, we simply give you our blessing, to let you know how important you are to us and to God.

Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes a child in my name, welcomes me.” May the children in our midst feel our welcome and know that they are loved. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” May we clear the path and offer our hand to guide these little ones in their journey of faith. Children, listen now as your church family
