The loving support of this group has, over my 13 years here, carried me through years of profound growth and healing, and brought me to Fire Dancing, which brings alignment with self and the universe and helped me find courage through my fears. It is beauty and strength in its most essential form: fire. INANNA, SISTERS IN RHYTHM: A women’s percussion and vocal ensemble dedicated to cultural diversity, education, and healing through the universal language of music. Blending western vocal harmonies with the polyrhythms of West Africa, the Middle East, and Brazil, they create a multicultural fusion beyond any one tradition.OFFERING: concert anD birD goDDess choirIn her book, When the Drummers Were Women, Layne Redmond writes in reference to the bird goddess that “traditionally it is always a goddess associated with birds who brings the gift of music… women learned to sing by turning the bird’s songs into lullabies, laments, and chants”. The bird goddess and her priestesses of the ancient Mediterranean world played the frame drum for the rituals of initiation, and to induce trance states. In this workshop we will gather bird songs, and play our drums, to create a melodic and rhythmic journey of awakening.

FIA ALEXANDER: artist anD writer, reiki healer, forest walkerSince 1996 I’ve had the honor of being part of creating this wonderful camp, first working in the Art Temple, and now aligning with guardianship of the land. OFFERING: We will connect with the spirit of the land and continue to establish shrines to each of the Goddesses we have worked with. We’ll also be doing practices to heal the land and to align with the forest and the fay.

ECLIPSE NEILSON with HARVEST: Director of woman soul, author, artist anD founDer of the magaian wayEclipse is a visionary activist, artist, and author of Stand In My Heart: An Elephant’s Dream; Motherghost: A Journey to the Mother; The Moon in Hand: A Mystical Passage; Wing & Bough ; Apple Dreams; Journey to the Heart cards; and The Singing Forest Divination Deck. She leads programs on cosmic alignments, and several tribal traditions have honored her as a “Vision Keeper.” Currently she is designing innovative bully-prevention programs for educational communities.

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR I have had the pleasure of working for over 30 years at Rowe Center with a powerful community of women, and I am humbled by the experience. It is truly my passion and my quest to reach women who are searching for ways to support their spiritual calling. Woman Soul creates an innovative program for all of us to explore, reclaim and practice healing within a like-minded, heart-felt community. We seek our greater purpose. I love creating arenas to help women find their spiritual calling. I am dedicated to diversity of spirit and I share my gifts from a Magaian perspective, which is simply based in mystical teachings developed by me over many years. Magaian work explores sacred alignments and does not belong to any one tradition. Authenticity is what I ask each of us. I am inspired when I see the passion of the human spirit rising as Woman Soul grows year by year. The big issues in the world are important to me and I believe that political action comes in many forms. I seek a path of peaceful r/evolution where women radiate healing.OFFERING: magaian sacreD griDs for inner growth. I love to design programs and platforms that offer opportunities for the greatest possibilities for the sacred mysteries to emerge. As we embrace the powerful ancient priestess teachings of the bird goddesses, I will share new ways to look at bird behavioral patterns, sounds and flight techniques as a new form of mythic mapping, energy building and ancient mystical teachings.
