Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the Office Fundamentals Workshop.

This workshop provides a range of resources that you can use, to get started using the apps in

Microsoft Office, or to build your confidence. Then there will be pointers to more resources to take

you further, when you need them.

Please go into the classroom and introduce yourself to a teacher if one is available: if no-one is

available then look through this leaflet.

Planning Your Learning (optional)

useful if you bring the booklet with you each time you attend.

Using the Office Fundamentals Workshops

You are welcome to come along to as many Office Fundamentals Workshops as you want. We do ask

you to book for each session at http://courses.it.ox.ac.uk/detail/TFUB so that we can ensure that

we have sufficient resources available. If you do book and then discover that you are unable to

attend, then please cancel your booking. The simple instructions for cancelling are in the

confirmation of booking email that you would have been sent.

We don’t usually issue Certificates of Attendance for the Fundamentals Workshops. If you would like

to record what you have done then you can use the tables below.

Please note: This is not part of your formal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) plan unless

you have separately agreed it with your line manager or supervisor. If this has been agreed, it is your

responsibility to record your attendance and progress; our privacy policy does not allow us to pass

on your course attendance to anyone other than you.

Some resources to explore while you’re waiting …
