1. Ross/Fowler, P.C.
Ross/Fowler has worked on numerous project of this scope and size for the UTK campus. This experience also includes work on our Chattanooga campus. The proposed team brings ample knowledge for a successful and functional project. Consultants include CEC (Civil), Vreeland Engineers (Electrical), Ross Bryan Associates (Structural), and I.C. Thomasson (Mechanical). They are located in Knoxville.
2. Carol R. Johnson Associates, Inc. (CRJA-IBI Group)
CRJA-IBI Group’s project experience includes work for the city of Knoxville and other UT projects which aligns with the scope of this streetscape project. The staff proposed are qualified in streetscape design with the consultants being CEC (Civil), Chad Steward Associates (Structural), McCarty Holsaple McCarty (Architect), and Newcomb & Boyd (Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical). They are all located in Knoxville.
A total of (2) firms submitted qualifications for this project. The other firm solicited was Barge Design Solutions, located in Knoxville.

2. Smith Seckman Reid
Firm has a well-conceived design strategy, and has extensive work experience with the state. SSR has done multiple similar projects, giving them good insight on the unique challenges of this sort of project. The firm is based in Nashville, with close proximity to the worksite.
3. HNA Engineering
Has previous work with APSU with knowledge of APSU mechanical systems in the building. HNA is currently overseeing boiler installation in Kimbrough, giving them unique insight on the existing HVAC system. Firm has a lot of experience with similar projects. The team has worked together on several projects.
