The Sub-Collector, Kendrapara-cum-Chairman, Regulated Market Committee, Kendrapara invites sealed tenders on percentage rate basis from civil contractors having registered under State Government/Central Government/MES/Railways for execution of works as detailed below.

1- Display of Tender Position :- From Dtd. 03-02-2014 to 12-02-2014.

2- Last date of receipt of tender Paper :- Dtd.13-02-2014 upto 4 P.M. through Registered post/ Speed post in the office of the Sub-Collector, Kendrapara, At/P.O/Dist- Kendrapara. Tender received after due date and time will not be accepted. Department will not be held responsible for any postal delay.

3- Date and time of opening :- Dtd 14-02-2014 at 3 P.M. in presence of the tenderers or their authorised agents in the office of the Sub-Collector, Kendrapara. 4- In case, the date of opening is declared as holiday, the tender will be opened on the next

working day in the same time and venue. 5- Intending tenderers may visit the website : www.rmckendrapara.com / www.kendrapara.nic.in/

www.osamboard.org 6- Tenders in all complete shape must be accompanied with attested copies of valid registration

certificate, PAN card,VATCC & required EMD in shape of Demand draft/Pay order in favour of “Regulated Market Committee, Kendrapara” as prescribed detailed in Col-4. Tenders without required EMD as detailed above in Col-4 will be liable for rejection. The contractors of all categories have to pay requisite EMD.

7- The details of tender documents for the above mentioned works are available on website :

www.rmckendrapara.com/www.kendrapara.nic.in/www.osamboard.org from dtd. 03-02-2014 to 12-02-2014. Intending tenderers can download the tender documents from the above website and submit the tender cost(non-refundable) in shape of Demand draft/ Pay order as per the column-5 of the tender call notice in a separate envelope, super scribing as “Cost of Tender documents” down loaded from the website.

8. For the above mentioned schedule of works, the bidder must have to fulfill the following criteria otherwise, the tender is to be declared as reject.

A) For the work in Sl. No.1 as mentioned in Schedule of Works, the bidder must have completed

any civil construction works at least 40% of this tender value in a single agreement during last two financial year. Final and completion certificate for the said criteria should be attached, otherwise the tender is to be rejected.

B) For the work in Sl. No.2 as mentioned in Schedule of works, the bidder must have completed at

least 500/1000 MT Godown during last two financial year. Secondly he should have completed any building construction works at least 40% of this tender value including or excluding construction of 500 / 1000 MT in a single agreement. Construction work experience of at least 500 / 1000 MT Godown is must for this work. Tender without said criteria will be liable for rejection.

C) For the work in Sl. No. 3 as mentioned in schedule of works, the bidder must have completed

similar nature of works like RCC building, with C.C. Road or only R.C.C Building work with a cost of minimum of Rs. 40% of this tender value in a single agreement during last two financial years. Final and completion certificate to that effect must be attached with the bid documents from concerned competent authority, otherwise the tender is to be rejected.

9. Defaulter Contractor / Fraud Contractors of any RMC of Odisha or any Department can not take

part in the tender process. A self declared affidavit is to be submitted along with the Bid documents, otherwise the tender is to be declared as rejected.

10- In case of less quoted tenders, the Tenderer has to deposit the differential amount (between the

tender cost and quoted cost) at the time of submitting tender paper in shape of Demand draft/ Pay order in favour of “Regulated Market Committee, Kendrapara”. The differential amount in any other form will never be entertained. No concession will be given to the contractors of all categories for non-submission of differential amount. In case of non-submission of differential amount at the time of submitting tenders, the tender shall be treated as rejected. No undertaking in this regard will be entertained. The same amount is to be refunded to the executants at substantial progress of the work with due recommendation of concerned J.E./ A.E. without any interest.

11- Each tender shall be accompanied by original affidavit regarding authentification of documents furnished by the tenderer failing which the tender will be liable for rejection. 12- The tender paper shall have to be submitted in closed cover envelope super scribing “Tender for

the work ...............................”. 13- In case of lowest tender and acceptance, the tenderer has to deposit 3% performance security

money in shape of Demand draft / Pay order. in favour of “Regulated Market Committee, Kendrapara” in respect of Tender cost before sign of F-2 agreement, otherwise his tender is to be rejected. Same amount is to be refunded to the executants after substantial progress of the work with due recommendation of the concerned J.E./A.E. without any interest.

14- The successful bidder has to deposit 1% I.S.D. before acceptance of agreement in shape of

D.D./P.O., other wise the tender is to be rejected. 15- This is a time bound work and is to be completed within stipulated time. The respective bidders

are advised to study the scope of work and survey the site for constraints if any, and access their bid capacity and capability before submitting their tenders.
