DAY 1: Tarangire National Park – 07.06.2021Drive from Arusha to the Kilimanjaro National Park.Today you will start your journey bright and early to reach the western part of Kilimanjaro National Park. This is a high altitude experience designed to give a taste of what Africa’s highest mountain has to offer. Don’t worry, you will not be reaching the top of the mountain and instead spend the day in the Shira Plateau at 3400m. We drive you till the Morrum Barrier inside of the park and from here you will meet one of our Mountain guides who will take you for a low fitness hike on the Plateu with lunch served on the mountain. You will see the variety of vegetation the mountain has to offer and may spot some wildlife such as colobus monkeys, bush elephants, giraffes or buffalo. After your lunch you exit the park and will drive to the Olpopongi Maasai village in west Kilimanjaro for an authentic Maasai experience. A variety of activities are possible at the village including museum and village tour / walking safari in the Maasai territory / Learning Maasai hunting techniques & learning about Maasai medicine. Evening program with Maasai Ceremonies.

DAY 2: West Kilimanjaro – Tarangire National Park – 08.06.2021Today you depart the west Kilimanjaro area early towards the Northern Safari Circuit. The drive takes a few hours till you reach Tarangire National Park where you wildlife game drives will be today. Tarangire is famous for its herds of elephans and Baobab trees. In the late afternoon you will continue on the safari circuit and stop at the Lake Manyara Viewpoint before reaching Karatu town for your overnight stay.

DAY 3: Full Game drive at Serengeti – 09.06.2021An early departure is always key on a safari and today is no different. You have a long journey across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area today to reach Serengeti National Park, a world heritage site and the most famous safari destination in the world. Site visits: In and around the Karatu and Crater Rim area.Note approximate driving time: 3-4 hours to destinationExpected game drive: Afternoon, Commonly seen animals: Elephant, giraffe, hippo, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, lion, cheetah, hyena, warthog, kudu, leopard, ostrich, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik.
Meals: Lunch, DinnerOvernight: 4-5* Lodge / Camp in Serengeti(All transfers & meals - B/L/D - included)
DAY 4: Game drive at Ngorongoro with Crater tour – 10.06.2021Today you will leave the lodge for an early morning game drive in this largest sanctuary of wildlife in the world.Return to your accommodation for breakfast. Around Mid-morning you will start your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a night on the crater rim.
Site visits: In and around the Central Serengeti areaNote approximate driving time: 3-4 hours to destinationExpected game drive: AfternoonCommonly seen animals: Elephant, giraffe, hippo, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, lion, cheetah, hyena, warthog, kudu, leopard, ostrich, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik.

DAY 5: Game drive at Ngorongoro with Crater tour – 11.06.2021Early morning departure into Ngorongoro Crater in the world’s largest caldera for your last game drive on this FAM trip. The crater shelters close to 30.000 animals including the Big Five on a lucky day. The crater teems with wildlife acting as a natural bio reserve. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro crater is chosen as one of Africa’s 7th natural wonders and a UNESCO world heritage site. In the late afternoon drive back to Moshi / JRO / Arusha. End of our services. Approximate driving time: 6-7 hours to end destination.Expected game drive: Maximum six hours.Commonly seen animals: Elephant, hippo, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, lion, hyena, jackal, vulture, warthog, impala, flamingo, ostrich, waterbuck.After Lunch, drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport!
