CHAIRMAN’SCOLUMN
It’s fantastic to finally be back at HBF Park after a long break between home games and I’d like to welcome everyone to what is undoubtedly a six- pointer game for both sides.
We’ve established a keen rivalry with City recently, having twice knocked them out of the finals and given how important second spot is, I’m expecting another hard-fought thriller today.
Before the game, Liam Reddy will receive an award to mark his 100th Hyundai A-League appearance for Glory and I’d like to personally acknowledge his huge contribution to the club.
World events have unfortunately meant that we’ve missed two ACL games, but please all come along on March 18th for our first home game (fingers crossed!) against Ulsan Hyundai.
I would also like to thank our Westfield W-League players and staff for their efforts over the season which finished last weekend.

MEET THEOPPOSITION
City head into today’s Round 22 clash sitting second on the ladder, three points and one place above Glory, having won ten of their 19 games played.
Only three of those victories for Erick Mombaerts’ men have come on the road, however, the most recent of which was at Newcastle Jets back in Round 10.
Ex-Glory man Jamie Maclaren has been the ace in the pack for City this term, having scored 14 goals thus far, with much of the ammunition for the in-form striker being provided by overseas trio Craig Noone, Florin Berenguer and Adrian Luna.
The visitors are led by another former Glory player, Scott Jamieson, who made his 250th Hyundai A-League appearance last weekend.
This afternoon marks City’s 15th visit to HBF Park where they have previously suffered nine defeats and picked up only two victories.
