• Right in your own backyard free community papers that are left at your doorstep or at your local stores

• Ask family and friends• When your out of town get papers during your

travels• Search online• Call your local chamber of commerce

Placing an Ad

• Call the advertisers for pricing• Make it simple 15-20 words,biz oppt in classified

section• Include your website in the ad and or phone number• Run the ad for at least 2 weeks• Ask for a tear sheet so you can see your ad• You can ask them to help you write you ad• Ask about specials, color block different type set• to make the ad stand out

Tracking an AD

• I track day to day, month to month, year to year

• Be sure to ask your lead where they saw the ad

• It is important to know which ad works and if you need to change it
