We hear from our students
Offsite Learning Mr. Taylor’s students have just completed a massive social studies inquiry project that spanned over 2 months. Students chose an ancient civilization to research and write about over 8 weeks. Mr. Taylor created Wix tutorials and used Zoom lessons to teach students to create and publish their research on their very own real website (no personal contact information or pictures are on them). Here are a few of the great examples of what students in Divison 3 did: Ashwin Kelly - Rome: https://ashwinkelly11.wixsite.com/ancientromeashwin Justin Nagra - Egypt: https://justinnagra21.wixsite.com/ancientegyptjustin Chloe Wu - Greece: https://chloewu3000.wixsite.com/mysite
Way to go, Division 3!!

WESTWIND UPDATES June 15 - 19
Westwind Elementary June 19, 2020
Onsite learning Mr. Pantaleo’s group has continued to study the salmon. Luckily, the salmon that Division 4 raised from eggs were released before learning moved offsite. This morning, Mr. Chu’s onsite Grade 6/7 students joined the Grade 5 students to dissect a coho salmon. A great learning opportunity for the onsite learners!
