The updated SWMP document will be modified in the next 6 months as required in Section 1.11 of the 2016 signed permit, and pursuant to Title 40, Part 122.34 Subpart B, or Permit Application and Special NPDES Program Requirements. The Municipality of Dorado has the intention of comply with the Permit's provisions and EPA requirements. As part of the provisions of the Clean Water Act, Section 402 (p), requires that storm waterdischarges. associated with municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4s) in urbanized areas, towaters of the US must be authorized by a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System(NPDES) permit. In order to comply with this requirement, we are submitting our Notice ofIntent for the NPDES Permit no. PRR040035. The Municipality of San German is located in the southwestern part or the island. It has a territorial extension of141.18 square kilometers. San German is bounded to the north with Mayaguez and Maricao; in the south with Lajas;west Cabo Rojo and Hormigueros: and to the east with the Sabana Grande Municipality. San German possesses apopulation 01'3\527 inhabitants, according to the 20 I0 Census. San German is divided into eighteen (18) wards:Anconcs, Cain Alto, Cain Bajo, Cotui, Duey Alto, Duey Bajo, Guama, Iloconuco Alto, I Ioconuco Bajo, Maresua,Minillas, Retire, Rosario Alto, Rosario Bajo, Rosario Pefion, Sabana Eneas. Sabana Grande Abajo, San GermanPueblo, and Tuna.

The Municipality or San German operates a municipal separate storm sewer system located in the Trujillo Area,Sahana Grande Abajo ward and divided ill several subsystems. This sewer system is a natural gully that starts close tothe state road PR-166 and continues south through the Valle Verde development, the PR-I 02 state road contiguous tothe Interamerican University and the PR-114 state road, flowing into the Guanajibo River. The other municipalseparate storm sewer system is located at the Pueblo Nuevo Area. The systems start as a natural gully at Villalnteramericana residential community crossing the PR-I 02 state road, the Oriente Street as a trapezoidal canalizedsection, adjacent to the Lola Rodriguez de Ti6 I Iigh School and I Iernan Alvarez street flowing into the Estero Riverarea close to the PR-360 state road. An additional municipal separate storm sewer system starts at the RetireCommunity and continues its course through the PR-I 02 state road. Santa Marta, Riverside and Porta Coeli residentialcommunities as a rectangular canalized section flowing into the Estero River area close to the PR-122 state road.
