HELP WANTED: One of my resolutions for 2017 is to form new ministers of
“hospitality (ushers) to serve people entering our church from 5 p.m. Saturday
until 6 p.m. Sunday – we need men and women to greet and assist all those who
enter. I will be meeting with our current ushers and also those interested in
serving over the next 6 weeks. The Diocese is offer a training day on Saturday,
March 6th at a Catholic High School in Queens. My personal goal is to have our
ushers trained and ready to go by the end of March. I ask everyone reading this
to consider this important ministry. Next weekend I will be meeting with all our
ushers and all those interested in becoming a minister of hospitality (ushers)
after the Saturday 5 p.m. English mass AND the Sunday 8:30 a.m. English mass.
If you attend one of those masses please consider attending this brief meeting
after mass.
Please join me in praying for the success of this campaign!
AYUDA REQUERIDA: Una de mis resoluciones para este 2017 es formar
nuevos ministros de la hospitalidad (ujieres) para servir a nuestra parroquia! Ser
ujier es uno de los ministerios más importantes de nuestra parroquia. Con
alrededor de 4000 personas entrando a nuestra iglesia de 5 p.m. Sábado hasta
6 p.m. Domingo - necesitamos hombres y mujeres para saludar y ayudar a todos
los que entran. Estaré reuniéndome con nuestros ujieres actuales y también con
aquellos interesados en servir durante las próximas 6 semanas. La Diócesis
ofrecerá un día de entrenamiento el sábado 6 de marzo en una escuela católica
de Queens. Mi objetivo personal es que nuestros ujieres estén entrenados y
listos para ir a finales de marzo. Les pido a todos los que lean esto que
consideren este importante ministerio. El próximo fin de semana me reuniré con
todos nuestros ujieres y todos aquellos interesados en convertirse en un ministro
de la hospitalidad (ujieres) después de la misa en ingles del sábado a las 5 pm y
el domingo después de misa de 8:30am en ingles. Si usted asiste a una de esas
misas por favor considere asistir a esta breve reunión después de la misa.

on Friday, February 17th. All those who Attended WYD Krakow are invited to meet at 7pm at the church and we will t ravel to ICC Douglaston together.
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR: THIS MONDAY, JANUARY 16 we honor the civil rights leader. It’s a federal holiday. Our parish office will be closed.
Evening parish group meetings will also be cancelled. The chapel will close
immediately following the 9 a.m. mass.

MASS BOOK 2017 Masses are offered for those living or deceased. The offering for each mass is $15. On Saturday at 5pm and 7:30pm and Sundays at 6pm. we offer collective intentions – which means we are able to take more than one intention for the mass. If you have any questions, please speak to one of the priests.
