Founding Mothers ExhibitThis display honors the women who gave selflessly oftime and energy to make the Ogallala Quilter’s Societyand the yearly quilt festival and retreats what we knowtoday. The list of tasks was never-ending: Th ey foundteachers; wrote articles for newsletters; lugged plug strips, extension cords, chairs, and tables from venue to venue;registered show participants; hung quilts; and begged fordonations and door prizes. These women found time tomake quilts, too.
