• Last year, Ohio State won, 2-1, in East Lansing. Marcus McCrary and Danny Jensen each netted goals.

SOME MORE NOTES• The Buckeyes are 3-3 at home and 0-4 on the road this year. The Buckeyes have outscored their opponents, 10-7, in the six home matches, but OSU opponents have outscored the Scarlet and Gray, 10-3, in four road contests. • Five different players have scored at least one goal for the Buckeye this season to date. Danny Jensen has scored four goals to lead the team. Nate Kohl and Austin Bergstrom have netted three goals followed by Abdi Mohamed with two goals. • Parker Siegfried has played all 930 minutes in goal this season to date. He has 28 saves, one shutout and a goals-against average of 1.50. • Bergstrom has played in all 930 minutes in the OSU backline followed by Niall Logue with 926 minutes of action.• Ohio State is 3-0-0 when scoring three or more goals this season and 2-1 when leading at halftime.

IN THE BIG TEN• Ohio State is tied for third in the league with 13 goals and fourth in the Big Ten with 11 assists. • Danny Jensen is tied for second in the conference with four goals. Austin Bergstrom and Nate Kohl are tied for sixth with three goals. Jensen is tied for third in the league with three assists. Jensen is tied for second in the Big Ten with 11 points this season. • Abdi Mohamed has scored both goals this season in league play.

JENSEN’S HAT TRICKDanny Jensen became the first Buckeye in four years to collect a hat trick in a 4-1 win over Valparaiso Sept. 21. He is the first Buckeye to record three goals in one game since Austin McAnena scored three goals in a 4-1 win over Butler during the 2012 season. Jensen also became the first Buckeye to score seven points in one game in recent history (since 2001). He scored two goals in the opening half vs. the Crusaders before striking a third goal in the 50th minute. He was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career this past Tuesday.

JENSEN CLIMBING CAREER SCORING LISTSDanny Jensen is eighth on the OSU career points list (51) and needs four points to tie former Buckeye Alan Lekan (1980, 82-83) for seventh. With his goal vs. SIUE, Jensen moved to sole possession of ninth for career goals, passing former Buckeye Chris Hegngi (2009-12). A goal vs. the Spartans would move Jensen for a tie for eighth with Tom Korb (1977-1980) with 20 career goals. He is tied for tenth on the OSU career assists list with Geoff Marsh (2005-08) with 13 helpers.

EXPERIENCED BACK LINE Three of the Buckeyes’ four backs have combined to start in 178 career matches. Senior co-captain Tyler Kidwell leads all active Buckeyes with 64 career nods followed by senior co-captain Austin Bergstrom (60) and junior Hunter Robertson (55). Bergstrom led all Buckeyes with 2,135 minutes played in 2015. Robertson, from Westerville, Ohio, has not missed a start since joining the team in 2014. Kidwell has missed the past four matches due to injury, but played in 12 minutes in the contest vs. Cougars Wednesday night.

15TH-ANNUAL CONNOR SENN MEMORIAL MATCH For 15 years, the Connor Senn Memorial Game has helped raise awareness for the fight against sudden cardiac arrest. On Sept. 21, the Ohio State men’s soccer team took on Valparaiso at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium presented a check for $15,000 to be donated to the Dorothy M. Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute at the Wexner Medical Center. The event raises awareness for sudden cardiac arrest in athletes with proceeds benefiting the Connor Senn Memorial Fund and the Dorothy M. Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute at the Wexner Medical Center. On Sept. 26, 2001, Connor Senn, a freshman on the men’s soccer team, collapsed on the field during the Buckeyes’ game at Akron and died that evening from a congenital heart defect, a condition virtually undetectable a decade ago. The Connor Senn Memorial Fund was quickly established by Dr. Lance Senn, Connor’s father and a former member of the Ohio State tennis team, with it expanding over the last decade to subsidize a fully-endowed scholarship at Ohio State and now to begin an educational symposium on sudden cardiac arrest.

MOHAMED’S GOAL RECOGNIZED BY TOP DRAWER SOCCER Abdi Mohamed’s free kick goal vs. Rutgers Sept. 18 was named to Top Drawer Soccer’s College Goal of the Week list last week. The sophomore midfielder struck a shot from 25 yards out and curled it into the top left of goal for an insurance score for the Buckeyes midway through the second half vs. the Scarlet Knights. It marked the second straight game Mohamed scored off a free kick from distance after scoring his first goal of the year at Penn State Sept. 13.

OHIO STATE AND RUTGERS TEAM UP AT KIDS KICKING CANCER The Ohio State and Rutgers men’s soccer teams took part in the Iris S. & Bert L. Wolstein’s Kids Kicking Cancer Sept. 18 at the indoor field at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The program encourages young patients and survivors of cancer and blood disorders to be active and recognize the benefits of physical activity and healthy eating. Members of the team took part with the participants by help running the skills session.

The Buckeyes improved to 14-6 all-time in Big Ten openers under head coach John Bluem.

GAME 1: Virginia Tech 1, #18 Ohio State 0 (2OT) Aug. 26 | Columbus, Ohio

The No. 18 Ohio State men’s soccer team fell, 1-0, in double overtime against Virginia Tech Friday in the second match of the 2016 Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Classic in Columbus. The Hokies (1-0-0) scored the game-winning goal in the 107th minute when Marcelo Acuna headed in a far cross from Alessandro Mion from eight yards out to spoil the 2016 opener for the Buckeyes (0-1-0) in front of 1,979 fans at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

“We didn’t play as well as we are capable of playing,” head coach John Bluem said. “I give our guys credit for a hard-fought fight in a very even game where one goal was going to be the difference. It was a little bitter to lose late like that but the only thing we can do is talk to the guys and get ready for Sunday. The breaks didn’t go our way tonight.”

The Buckeyes held the majority of possession in the first 45 minutes, putting pressure on the Virginia Tech backline but couldn’t find a first-half netter. Senior forward Christian Soldat had the lone shot on goal in the opening half in the 14th minute but was denied. Senior forward Danny Jensen and sophomore defender Andrew Lombard each made strong runs through the midfield but were swarmed by the Hokie defense and couldn’t put get a shot away in the 25th and 26th minutes, respectively. At half, shots were 3-2 in favor of the Scarlet and Gray.

Virginia Tech came out of halftime with five shots, including two on goal, but was kept out of the net by redshirt freshman goalkeeper Parker Siegfried, who made his first career start. Soldat knocked a header on target in the 65th minute, while senior forward Yaw Amankwa sent a low shot to the front of goal from 15 yards, but was covered by the keeper in the 75th. Sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed blasted a shot from 25 yards in the 89th minute, but was blocked. At the end of regulation, Virginia Tech held an 11-9 advantage in shots.

Chances were hard to come by in both OT periods for both teams until a throw-in from the far side of the field by Virginia Tech led to the lone netter by Acuna. Overall, shots were 14-9 in favor of the Hokies, while both teams had four corner kicks. Siegfried drops to 0-1-0 on the season and made three saves. Virginia Tech goalkeeper Ben Lundgaard made three saves and improves to 1-0-0.

GAME 2: #13 UCSB 1, #18 Ohio State 0 (OT) Aug. 28 | Columbus, Ohio

The No. 18 Ohio State men’s soccer team suffered another tough overtime loss Sunday night at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. After a two-hour weather delay, the Buckeyes fell, 1-0, in OT against No. 13 UCSB to close out the 2016 Wolstein Classic. With the loss, the Scarlet and Gray drop to 0-2-0, while the Gauchos improve to 2-0-0 in 2016. Severe weather in the area caused the game to be delayed two hours and 15 minutes with kickoff starting at 9:15 p.m. ET. Kevin Feucht scored the game-winning goal when he struck a volley into the net at 92:53 on a well-timed cross from the far side of the field by Jonah Adomakoh.

“It’s been a difficult day,” head coach John Bluem said. “UC Santa Barbara is a very good team and I thought our effort was great tonight. Obviously, we are not generating enough attacking opportunities yet and that’s what we are going to have to improve on. We have some guys returning to the lineup and we can get better going forward. Defensively, we are strong and I thought Parker Siegfried was very good this weekend. It takes some time, but once we get it right we will be a dangerous team moving forward.”

Although Parker Siegfried dropped to 0-2-0 in his young collegiate career, the redshirt freshman goalkeeper held his head high following the contest vs. the nationally-ranked Gauchos. The native of Granville, Ohio, registered six saves -- four in the second half -including one stop on a penalty attempt in the final moments of regulation. Siegfried made nine saves on the weekend.

Ohio State had four-consecutive corners in the 71st minute, but couldn’t find a score. A shot from the far side by senior defender Austin Bergstrom was blocked. Seconds later, senior defender Alex Ranalli tried to send a header to a pack of Buckeyes in front of goal from the near side, but it was deflected out of bounds. After the fourth corner, a shot by sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed sailed high away from the far post.

Siegfried then shined in the final minutes of regulation. He stopped a laser from 30 yards out by Dalton Pando in the 83rd minute before making the save of the night on the penalty kick attempt by Feucht at 83:45. The OSU keeper guessed right by diving to his right and covered the shot to maintain the scoreless contest. The Gauchos earned the chance on a hand ball called in the penalty box. The game began to creep towards midnight as the Buckeyes were forced to play overtime for the second time on the weekend. UCSB held a 17-6 advantage in shots, while Ohio State led in corner kicks, 5-4.

GAME 3: Portland 2, #25 Ohio State 0 Sept. 2 | Portland, Ore.

The No. 25 Ohio State men’s soccer team fell, 2-0, at Portland Friday night in its opening match at the Portland Nike Invitational in Portland, Ore. The Pilots (2-1-0) scored two second-half goals in route to the home victory over the Buckeyes (0-3-0) in front of a crowd of 2,972 at Merlo Field.

Portland controlled possession in the opening 45 minutes, pressing the OSU backline, but the Buckeye defense held its own as the score remained tied headed into halftime. The Pilots registered five opening-half corners, but were denied any good looks at net. Portland had the best chance in the first half on a breakaway in the 32nd minute. Benji Michel had an open look at goal from the far side, but his shot went off the side netting. Sophomore defender Andrew Lombard tallied the first shot of the night for the Buckeyes, but missed his target from 20 yards out. Junior forward Marcus McCrary had two strong runs from the near side in the first half, however, the OSU forward couldn’t find space around a pack of Pilot defenders. At half, shots were 7-1 in favor of the Pilots with a 5-0 lead in corners.

Ohio State came out of halftime on the attack with four shots in the first 10 minutes of play. Senior captain Austin Bergstrom sent a strong service in to senior forward Danny Jensen, but his header in front of goal sailed high in the 50th minute. McCrary blasted a shot from the far post, but keeper Paul Christensen was in good position to make the save in the 56th. Sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed booted a shot from the top of the box in the 58th, but it curved wide of the far post.

Portland struck the scoreboard when Gio Magana-Rivera dribbled through the Buckeye backline and finished with a netter in the back right corner of the net in the 67th minute. It was the first goal allowed by the Scarlet and Gray in regulation this season. Portland extended its lead to 2-0 in the 77th minute when Erik Edwardson kicked in a shot off a rebound from five yards out. A red card was issued to the Buckeyes in the 83rd minute and were forced to play a man down for the final phase of the game and couldn’t recover.

GAME 4: Oregon State 2, Ohio State 1 (2OT) Sept. 5 | Corvallis, Ore.

The Ohio State men’s soccer team suffered its third overtime loss of the season, falling 2-1, in double OT at Oregon State Monday afternoon in Corvallis, Ore. With the loss, the Buckeyes fall to 0-4-0 overall, while the Beavers improve to 3-0-1 in 2016.

After a frustrating start to the 2016 season, the Buckeyes finally found their first goal of the year in the first half against the Beavers. In the 28th minute, junior forward Marcus McCrary sent a through ball to junior forward Nate Kohl, who took a beautiful touch around a Beaver defender and finished with a netter between the keeper’s legs at 27:30. The goal marked the first of Kohl’s collegiate career, who sat out the 2015 campaign after transferring from Michigan.

Oregon State leveled the contest at 1-all in the 64 minute when David Morgan had a driving run into the box and played it over Jordan Jones, who finished with a goal into the back right of net at 63:56.

The Buckeyes collected a season-high 12 corners, including seven in the second-half, but failed to convert a goal off a set piece situation. The Scarlet and Gray earned back-to-back corners in the 88th minute and had the best chance for a winner late in regulation. On the second corner attempt, junior defender Hunter Robertson leaped and headed a shot on target, but Oregon State’s Timmy Mueller reacted quickly and made the save on the goal line to keep it at 1-1 and force overtime.

After limited action in the first overtime, the Beavers scored the game-winner 18 seconds into the second OT period. Don Tichliao ran past multiple Ohio State defenders into the box and finished with an unassisted score at 100:18 to end the first meeting between the two programs.

GAME 5: Ohio State 1, Northwestern 0 Sept. 9 | Columbus, Ohio

Just hit the restart button. That was the mindset for the Ohio State men’s soccer team headed into its Big Ten opener Friday night in Columbus. After the 0-4 start on the season, the Buckeyes fought their way to a 1-0 shutout victory against Northwestern in front of 1,462 fans at Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Field at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Senior midfielder Ben Fitzpatrick scored his first goal as a Buckeye, while redshirt freshman goalkeeper Parker Siegfried picked up his first collegiate shutout. With the win the Buckeyes improve to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten play, while the Wildcats drop to 1-4 overall and 0-1 in conference action.

COMMENTS FROM COACH BLUEM“We talked about that in the locker room before the game tonight that the Big Ten season gives you that new lift,” head coach John Bluem said. “It’s a new chance. It was a good match against a tough opponent in Northwestern. Fortunately, we were the team that got the goal tonight. I thought our attacking play was certainly better tonight. We created a lot of opportunities. Parker Siegfried was very good tonight and I’m glad he got his first shutout. I’m excited for Ben Fitzpatrick. He always wanted to be a Buckeye and it worked out for him his senior year. He’s a very good attacking player and everyone saw what he is capable of tonight – that was a beautiful shot.”

FITZPATRICK’S GAME-WINNER Fitzpatrick, a transfer from Urbana University and native of Hilliard, Ohio, got his team on the board in the 50th minute with a fantastic strike from the top of the box. The scoring chance started when Fitzpatrick tucked in and found a gap and received a pass from forward Danny Jensen. The OSU midfielder found space and smacked a shot off the hands of Northwestern keeper Francisco Tomasino and into the back right of net at 49:14.

“It’s surreal,” Fitzpatrick said. “Since I was a little kid I’ve dreamed of playing for the Buckeyes. It’s big for me to come in here as a senior and play with this great group of guys. To be able to come out here and get a win in our Big Ten opener is huge.”

FIRST SHUTOUT FOR SIEGFRIED Siegfried from Granville, Ohio, made just two saves in the victory, but swarmed to the ball throughout the entire 90 minutes to earn his first collegiate shutout. He led a Buckeye defense that limited the Wildcats to eight shots, allowing only two shots on target.

GAME 6: Ohio State 2, Penn State 4 Sept. 13 | University Park, Pa.

The Ohio State men’s soccer team fell, 4-2, at Penn State Tuesday night at Jeffrey Field in University Park, Pa. With the loss, the Buckeyes drop to 1-5 overall and 1-1- in Big Ten play, while the Nittany Lions improve to 3-2-1 overall and 1-0 in conference action. The Buckeyes struck the scoreboard twice in the second half, but couldn’t overcome a four-goal deficit at halftime. Senior back Austin Bergstrom and sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed each scored their first goals of the season. Connor Maloney led the offensive charge for the Nittany Lions with a goal and three assists.

PENN STATE STRIKES EARLYThe Nittany Lions wasted no time to claim the first goal of the match, scoring 47 seconds after the opening whistle. Connor Maloney sent a pass from the top of the box over to Mason Klerks, who finished with a netter inside the far post for the early 1-0 lead.

NITTNAY LIONS ADD THREE MORE Penn State made it 2-0 in the 26th minute when a header by Klerks found the bottom of the net at 25:44. Maloney set up the scoring play when he connected with Klerks off a free kick from the far side of the field. The Nittany Lions then opened the game to a three-goal lead just two minutes later when Maloney scored on a penalty kick at 27:44. Penn State scored off a turnover in the 42nd minute when Aymar Sigue beat Parker Siegfried to the left for the fourth goal.

BERGSTROM, MOHAMED BURY SECOND-HALF GOALS Ohio State continued to battle despite being down by the large deficit and scored twice to cut Penn State’s lead in half. Senior back Austin Bergstrom capitalized on a foul inside the box when he buried his penalty kick to cut the score to 4-1 at 65:16. The Buckeyes answered again when Mohamed struck a brilliant free kick from 25 yards out inside the near post at 67:46 to make it a 4-2 contest. The Buckeye defense held the Nittany Lions to two shots in the second half as Ohio State outshot Penn State, 12-7, and held an 8-1 lead in corners.

GAME 7: Ohio State 3, Rutgers 1 Sept. 18 | Columbus, Ohio

The Ohio State men’s soccer team picked up three crucial points in the Big Ten standings following a 3-1 win over Rutgers Sunday afternoon at Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Field at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. With the win, the Buckeyes improve to 2-5 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play, while the Scarlet Knights drop to 0-6 overall and 0-3 in conference action. Junior forward Nate Kohl, senior back Austin Bergstrom and sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed each netted goals in the home victory.

“We spoke during the week how we needed to turn our season around and I thought our guys were very sharp right from the start today,” head coach John Bluem said. “Our attacking play was very good in the first 20 minutes and that was the positive start we were hoping for this afternoon. We let them have a reason to believe with an early goal to start the second half, but Abdi had another wonderful strike for a third goal. He’s very good at those free kicks and has been a dangerous player for us this season.”

Right from the opening whistle, the Buckeyes were on the attack pressuring the Rutgers’ backline. The combination of speed and power by senior forward Danny Jensen and Nate Kohl was a problem for the Scarlet Knights, who allowed three shots on goal in the opening three minutes of action. After a throw-in from midfield, Jensen sent a through ball to Kohl who sprinted down the near sideline and sneaked a low shot inside the near post at 4:56 for the early 1-0 lead. The two OSU forwards combined for seven shots in the first half, including five on target. The Buckeyes continued to control possession deep in Rutgers territory and earned a penalty kick in the 27th minute when a hand ball foul was called inside the box off a free kick attempt from Bergstrom. The OSU co-captain then buried the attempt at 26:13 to put the Scarlet and Gray ahead, 2-0. It marked the second converted penalty kick in two games for Bergstrom.

Ohio State pushed its lead back to two goals thanks to the foot of sophomore midfielder Abdi Mohamed. A native of Westerville, Ohio, Mohamed buried a free kick from 20 yards out into the top left corner of goal at 53:30 for his second goal of the season. It was another brilliant strike by the second-year Buckeye after scoring five days earlier on the road at Penn State from the similar position on the field on a free kick attempt.

GAME 8: Ohio State 4, Valparaiso 2 Sept. 21 | Columbus, Ohio

Danny Jensen registered the first Ohio State hat trick in four years as the men’s soccer team downed Valparaiso, 4-1, Wednesday night in the 15th-an-nual Connor Senn Memorial Match at Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Field at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Jensen, from Weston, Fla., posted a career-high seven points with an assist to go along with his three goals as the Buckeyes improved their record to 3-5 on the season, while the Crusaders drop to 2-2-2.

“Danny had a great game and really got us going in the first half,” head coach John Bluem said. “His energy was tremendous. His work defensively, regaining the ball and creating the attacks were super. I think our game is starting to get better. These last two games I’ve felt more comfortable about our attacking play and defensively as well. I think the play of Nate Kohl in the striker position has been exceptional. He’s very dangerous and draws two defenders wherever he goes. Ben Fitzpatrick is starting to play extremely well on the flank for us too. The front four is really starting to click together now.”

Jensen becomes the first Buckeye to record a hat trick since Austin McAne-na scored three goals in a 4-1 win over Butler on Sept. 26, 2012. Nate Kohl scored the fourth Buckeye goal on the night to go along with an assist, while Christian Soldat recorded two assists. Ben Fitzpatrick and Abdi Mo-hamed registered an assist in the team’s third straight home win of the year. In all, the Buckeyes collected a season-high 14 points in the box score.

“Honestly, balls were just bouncing my way tonight,” Jensen said. “It was lit-tle touches that ended up on my foot. We probably could have scored three times on the last goal, but somehow I ended up with the score. The team played well overall and things were clicking for us tonight.”

GAME 9: Bowling Green 2, Ohio State 0 Sept. 24 | Bowling Green, Ohio

The Ohio State men’s soccer team fell, 2-0, at Bowling Green Saturday night at Cochrane Stadium in Bowling Green, Ohio. With the loss, the Buckeyes drop to 3-6 overall on the season, while the Falcons improve to 6-2-1 in 2016.

BOWLING GREEN STRIKES FIRSTThe Falcons scored the lone goal in the opening 45 minutes when Joe Sullivan played a cross inside the box from the right wing where a scramble occurred in front of goal. Max Auden was able to get a touch on it and found the back of the net at 7:12.

FIRST HALF CHANCESDanny Jensen ripped a low shot from 10 yards out but was saved by BGSU goalkeeper Anthony Mwembia in the 20th minute. Christian Soldat and Nate Kohl each had headers on target, but were denied by Mwembia. At halftime, shots were 5-4 in favor of the Buckeyes.

MILLER PUSHES THE BGSU LEAD Robert Miller returned in the game and within a minute he pushed the lead to 2-0. He capitalized on an errant pass and sent a one-timer from 12 yards out into the back left of net at 66:19.

SECOND HALF OPPORTUNITIES Ohio State had quality possession throughout the second half, but couldn’t find a goal. Austin Bergstrom sent a shot from distance but was deflected and grabbed by saved by Mewmbia at 52:21. A header in the 68th minute, by Soldat went wide. Moments later, Yaw Amankwa gained possession and sent a through ball to the left wing where Marcus McCrary fired a shot, but was saved again by Mewmbia. A yellow card was issued to the Falcons in the 82nd minute, giving the Buckeyes a free chance by Abdi Mohamed. However, his shot sailed over the crossbar. The Falcons handled the Ohio State pressure in the second half and denied any clean look at goal. Mohamed had the Buckeyes’ final chance at goal but his shot from the near side caromed off the bar in the 90th minute.

GAME 10: SIUE 3, Ohio State 2 Sept. 30 | Columbus, Ohio

The Ohio State men’s soccer team dropped a 3-2 match against SIU Edwardsville on a damp Wednesday night at Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Field at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

“I thought we played better in the second half, but we couldn’t find a goal,” head coach John Bluem said. “The longer the game was tied, the harder it gets for each side. It was a nice goal they scored at the end of the game, so there is not much you can do there. We can still make a statement in conference play moving forward. We will be ready on Sunday and hopefully the breaks go our way.”

The Buckeyes got off to a strong start in wet conditions at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Abdi Mohamed sent a near cross inside the box and found the foot of Jensen, who sent a sliding shot inside the far post past goalkeeper Kyle Dal Santo at 17:10 to put the Scarlet and Gray ahead, 1-0.

SIU Edwardsville claimed the equalizer 10 minutes later when Jambga broke free from a through ball by Mathias Ebbesen and struck a shot from the top of the box into the upper right 90 at 17:10. The Cougars came into the match with three goals on the season, while allowing just seven scores.

Austin Bergstrom put the Buckeyes back in the lead in the 27th minute for his third goal of the season. Ben Fitzpatrick sent in a fantastic service off a corner from the far side and connected with Bergstrom, who one-timed it into the back of net at 26:04.

With seconds left in the first half, SIUE found another equalizer, this time off a late corner. Gabe Christianson headed a cross from Andrew Kendall-Moullin in front of goal at 44:53.

In a hard-fought second half, the Buckeyes had multiple chances to find the back of the net, but SIUE unfortunately was the team that found a late goal. A heel-kick pass at the top of the box from Keegan Mchugh played back to Jambga and he finished with a second goal into the back right of net in the 88th minute. The Buckeyes had two last-second corners, but couldn’t convert. A header by Hunter Robertson from the near post was saved by Dal Santo with less than 30 seconds remaining, who improved to 2-4-2 on the year with three saves.
