(Super Maturity Phase) Maturing basin with further opportunitiesDevelopment of the oil and gas technology Centre in Aberdeen30 years ago the North Sea was producing double the amount of oil and gas it does today from around the 1/4 of of the amount of fields.Discoveries were roughly 5 times the size of what we are discovering today.Because of the age of the North Sea Oil and Gas Fields, the UK does have some of the best expertise in the world.20 billion bbl of oil equivalent left70% collapse of oil price has summer 2014, 20% reduction of gas price has depressed revenues.

OIL & GAS SUMMARY

Notes from Oil and Gas UK Breakfast Briefing Activity Survey March 2016 *

Exploration is at an all time lowNew discoveries that were on Operators plan to develop are no longer commercially viable. If we stay lower for longer nearly 1/2 our oil fields will not cover their operating costs. The rate that fields are being shut down is now increasingSeptember 2015 survey: 65,000 jobs lost since the crash. 15% contraction in the industry. We are driving efficiency and decreasing costs.Focusing efforts towards operating at $50/bbl.

OIL AND GAS SUMMARY

Notes from Oil and Gas UK Breakfast Briefing Activity Survey March 2016 *

Want to transform the the UK Oil and Gas basin into a low tax, high activity province and sustains and supports the supply chain.Asking for a significant permanent reduction in headline tax rates from the government. Unlock the late life asset market and encourage exploration by permanently removing the special taxes from all discoveries for the next five years. The industry is looking to attract fresh investment.
