ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Hemingway Design is run by Wayne Hemingway and Gerardine
Hemingway who were responsible for the fashion label Red or
Dead. They now undertake urban design and have established a
national reputation for strategic level design and the ability to
add
additionality to the schemes that they work on.
They were initially approached to see if they would be
interested in the project and agreed to visit the site to discuss
any
involvement. Wayne Hemingway made it clear from the start that
they were able to pick and choose the projects that they were
involved with on the basis of his reputation.
They have a unique artistic ability and influence designs at the
same time.
Those key features are only available because Wayne Hemingway
involves himself personally in the projects that he hand picks
to
be involved in.
Hemingway Design have developed a particular design brand that
has captured the imagination of the media. Through his unique
artistic ability to create and influence design and community
engagement skills he is able to bring together the community
and
both local and national partners.
