WRITING TASK

In most European countries parents can decide who takes the parental leave to stay at home

with a new baby. Scandinavian countries, however, have adopted a so-called "daddy quota"

that reserves part of the parental leave period exclusively for fathers, which means that the

father has to stay at home with the baby for a given period of the leave, otherwise that part of

the leave is lost.
