Old Harbour is an extravagant, tranquil, oblatious community that is authentic and dispersing with opportunities at an alarming rate. Over the years Old Harbour has seen acceleration commercially and

economically and is a prolific opportunity for private Doctors to explore and invest. Old Harbour in the past was a rural community with all its allure in

the town center but over time it has bloomed into an architectural grandeur and a fish destination as everyone both home and abroad comes to Old

Harbour Bay fishing village for their supply of fresh fish of the highest quality and at affordable prices.

Old Harbour is also the home of Old Harbour Police Station and the clock both situated in the heart of the town and are monuments of this

which has palette rich history. Old Harbour is one of the places one look forward for the scenery of lush vegetation and healthy well breed cattle and poultries of different kinds and yes our farmers are skilled

in their profession. Unfortunately the more agriculture blooms in the communities the cases of predial larceny lures its ugly head but the police

and farmers are working in partnership to eradicate this and all problems to make all our communities continue to be safe and farming profitable.

Our children are very important to us and we will be using this media to educate and sensitize them of all opportunities so they will be skilled and equipped for better futures. Presently Old Harbour has many schools, plaza, schemes and construction of many more for years to come. Traffic is of some concern and even though high way 2000 has helped the price of the fuel and fact that the town is so extravagant for everyone, the experience of driving through the town cannot be avoided this causing traffic built ups but if we as drivers are cautious and mindful of others we can all enjoy the experience that Old Harbour as to offer.

When planning for the future having a good investment portfolio is one of the elements of a good plan. No matter who you are, we all must save for the unexpected and also for future expenses if we are to be able to afford them. Here are a few tips to help you make good investment decisions when choosing how to invest your money

DiversifyThe expression, “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” is meaningful when it comes to money investing. Do not put all your money in one stock also, buy fixed income securities (i.e. bonds) and stocks do not pick only one type of investment.

Do Your HomeworkObtain and analyze as much information as possible before making your investment decisions. This will alert you of any problems a company may haveor what to expect from your investment.

Set Goals & LimitsDetermine the price (high target price or low stop-loss price) at which you are willing to sell. Analyze interest rates to decide what return you want.

Do not gamble With Money YouCannot Afford To LoseThe less you can afford a loss, the more conservative you should be in your choice of investments.

Do not be GreedyDo not expect your broker to recommend stocks that will double in value within a few months. If you do have a stock that goes up considerably i.e. 50% or more sell

EXERCISE MORE:20 minutes is an emotional lifter, if you need to blow off steam after a stressful day a workout at the gym or a brisk 20 minute walk can help. Excise stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed. You may also feel better about your appearance and yourself when you exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem.

SLEEP MORESleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety which contributes to your happiness. During sleep, your body is working to support

healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development.

The damage from sleep deficiency can occur in an instant (such as a car crash), or it can harm you over time. For example, ongoing sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. Sleep helps your brain work properly. While you’re sleeping, your brain is preparing for the next day. It’s forming new pathways to help you learn and remember information. Studies show that a good night’s sleep improves learning. Whether you are learning math, how to play the piano, how to perfect your golf swing, or how to drive a car, sleep helps enhance your learning and problem-solving skills. Sleep also helps you pay attention, make decisions, and be creative.

SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDSSocial time is highly valuable when it comes to improving our happiness, even for introverts. Several studies have found that time spent with friends and family makes a big difference to how happy we feel, generally. We are happy when we have family, we are happy when we have friends and almost all the other things we think make us happy are actually just ways of getting more family and friends.

PRACTICE SMILINGSmiling itself can make us feel better, but it’s more effective when we back it up with positive thoughts, according to this study:

A new study led by a Michigan State University business scholar suggests customer-service workers who fake smile throughout the day worsen their mood and withdraw from work, affecting productivity. But workers who smile as a result of cultivating positive thoughts such as a tropical vacation or a child’s recital improve their mood and withdraw less.

Of course it’s important to practice “real smiles” where you use your eye sockets. It’s very easy to spot the difference:

Smiling makes us feel good which also increases our attentional flexibility and our ability to think holistically. When this idea was tested by Johnson et al. (2010), the results showed that participants who smiled performed better on attentional tasks which required seeing the whole forest rather than just the trees.

A smile is also a good way to alleviate some of the pain we feel in troubling circumstances: Smiling is one way to reduce the distress caused by an upsetting situation. Psychologists call this the facial feedback hypothesis. Even forcing a smile when we don’t feel like it is enough to lift our mood slightly (this is one example of embodied cognition).

Dear Diary+++++

I am a 35 year old man who works in the entertainment industry; I’m single and have no children. A year and 2 months ago I met

a young lady in a popular fast food restaurant in Old Harbour, and we both were fond of each other that we spent the rest of the day talking and laughing together. When we decided it was time to leave, we exchange numbers and kept in contact. As the months progressed we started sleeping together, and this girl became everything to me, I even started thinking about getting married and starting a family with her, life was finally turning around for me. After six months into the relationship, I wasn’t hearing from her as much as before, she started complaining that I can’t call her after 8 pm because she needed to get to bed early to wake up for work in the mornings, and hardly made time on the weekends anymore. One day I went to a hotel in Kingston for business purposes, but while checking in I saw my girlfriend with a baby and a man checking out. After seeing me she just walked straight to the car and never looked back. I felt so devastated and betrayed. After that one week encounter she called me explaining that she is married and has a 3 year old child, but she is going to divorce her husband because she does not love him, however she loves me and I shouldn’t let this ‘love’ of ours die because we are meant for each other and she is serious about us. However it has been five months since this promise and I have been waiting for her but it seems as if she is not going to go through with this divorce and I am going crazy. I need your advice on what I should do?

Yours SincerelyConfused Writer

Dear Confused Writer

Love is such a powerful emotion, so powerful that at times we are unable to assess our situations rationally in order to make the

right choices. But to be an influencing factor defiling of a marriage that was created by this couple or any other couple blessed and sanctified by God, is a bad decision and the wrong thing to do. My suggestion for you is to leave this young woman alone, make recommendations for her to work out her marital affairs with her husband. Continuous communication with her will only cause more pain and this will not help you to get over her. It is now the time for you to let her go and re-integrate yourself back into the dating world, socialize with new people and ensure that you do extensive background research on whoever you choose to date, this will help to prevent the repeat of these devastating events. Be around people that will help you to forget about her, persons who truly care about your feelings and care about you. All the best for the future. Thank you for your letter.

October is Cancer Awareness month and I think it to share information about the insurance options available to you or your

loved one if he or she is diagnosed with this illness. is the perfect opportunity, I have seen and heard too many stories of loved ones who have died from a critical illness, especially some form of cancer because they didn’t have the money to get treatment. You may say I am healthy now and there is no need for insurance, however bear in mind we can’t foretell our future and we are not immune to sickness. Just think back for a few minutes and reflect on someone who you know that was diagnosed with cancer. How was his or her r treatment handled? Would you like yours to be dealt with in the same way? Whatever your answer may be, the one thing for sure is that we want good health care and a speedy recovery.

The benefits are great when you have a Life Insurance Plan for critical illnesses, they are paid out while you are still alive and once you are diagnosed early. An additional important benefit is you will have a personal Financial Advisor that will be happy to assist you with the process of making a claim.

Let me share a true life story with you. A good friend of mine went to do her regular check-up . While at the doctor’s office he notices she had a lump in one of her breasts, she was sent immediately to have further tests done. These results came back and confirmed that she had breast cancer in her right breast. After discussing with her doctor the course of treatment, she realized she needed about $ 2 million. However she wasn’t worried about the cash, because she had a critical Life Insurance Plan.

She took up her phone and gave her Advisor a call and within a matter of 48 hours she had her cheque in hand. She is now up and about ,living and doing her daily activities .She is a successful cancer survivor all because she had a Life Insurance Critical heath plan in place.

As human beings, we are prone to break under pressure, then self-destruct. From birth, we are infallible and weak. As we grow, we enter into a world of struggle and hardship; most times with a dim chance of overcoming. Every effort we make to stand seems defeated by life, as it seeks to

pull us back down. However in the words of Sir Winston Churchill, we must ‘never, never, never give up’. No success story is complete until one has experienced failure to its truest depths. Only when we are tested and tried, then we would have a clear knowledge of our limits and capabilities. It is said that ‘success is not final, but failure is not fatal’. This implies, therefore, that it is not for us to get complacent when we have achieved our goals, but neither is all assurance lost when we haven’t.

It is only natural to experience stumbling blocks in life. Obstacles and challenges are not new to those who endeavor to be successful. But even, in the face of adversity, the little light of hope still glows. In the hours when we feel as though there is no reason to continue, God always delivers those who trust and believe in his matchless powers. He continues to be merciful and gracious. In the book of Corinthians, God reassures us that he does not give us more than we can manage. He understands all our problems, whether large or small and he knows all our weaknesses. He is always willing to help us through our situations, no matter how impossible they may appear to be. When we have every reason to stop trying, let God be our one reason to keep holding on.
