The SorcererOne of Gilbert & Sullivan's lesser-knowncomic operas, this show is full of fun and lotsof tuneful, jolly music.
Alexis is marrying the love of his life, Aline, and is so happy he wants all the village toexperience such happiness themselves. He commissions the Sorcerer to secretlyadminister his best selling love potion toeveryone in the village. Anyone drinking thepotion falls asleep and then falls in love withthe first person they see on awaking.
Needless to say, the plan goes somewhatawry, resulting in some rather unexpected and mis-matched pairings! Hilarious!
