Alternatively, tickets are available at The Old Rep Theatre Box Office, which opens half an hour before each performance starts. Best reception is obtained in the stalls. On your arrival, please advise the Duty Manager of your requirement. Guide dogs are welcome and we recommend that you sit in the gangway seats or on the front row of the stalls. Please advise staff when you arrive if you need any assistance. The Old Rep has undergone a programme of renovations to provide lift access for wheelchair users. Please contact The Box Office on 0121 245 4455 for further information. Customers who have difficulty in walking should book seats at the front of the stalls and use the Hinckley Street entrance for easier access. There is a licensed bar which is situated at the rear of the theatre in Hinckley Street, open for pre-performance, interval and after show refreshments. The SorcererOne of Gilbert & Sullivan's lesser-knowncomic operas, this show is full of fun and lotsof tuneful, jolly music.

Alexis is marrying the love of his life, Aline,and is so happy he wants all the village toexperience such happiness themselves. He commissions the Sorcerer to secretlyadminister his best selling love potion toeveryone in the village. Anyone drinking thepotion falls asleep and then falls in love withthe first person they see on awaking.

Needless to say, the plan goes somewhatawry, resulting in some rather unexpected and mis-matched pairings! Hilarious!
