Pastor’s Corner It is with great sadness that I announce the retirement of Brenda Tylkowski, a dear friend and co-worker for many years. She began em-ployment at Holy Ghost in the Cafeteria with

Robbin Dworak. The two of them worked for little, but re-ceived much in seeing the faces of the little ones light up to receive the delicious lunches both prepared. While doing that she also worked a couple afternoons in the rectory as house-keeper until Fr. Dick Whiteing hired her as full time Business Manager. She weathered many a storm at Holy Ghost with priests coming and going. When I arrived in 2001, she and Lois Conrad made life so easy for me to transition here. There's no doubt that Don's death just a year ago, left a huge hole in her heart and in all of us who knew and loved him. She now deserves the time to spend her retirement years watching her grandchildren grow and mature. I know she feels sadness in closing this chapter in her life but she ought to know of the MANY who grew to know and love her over the years. If you have a chance give her call, send a card or say thank you in person for all that she has done, and will con-tinue to do for Holy Ghost Parish. This week I was informed that Fr. Sanderson will be-come the new pastor of Holy Ghost, but remain pastor of St. Mary's as well. He will continue residence at St. Mary's rec-tory. At this point there are no plans for a priest to be in the residence here. With Brenda's departure, it remains to be seen if he or I will hire another Business Manager. We will keep you informed of our staffing situation. Brenda's last day in the office is June 25th. Pray for all of us during this time of transition. Have a good week, Fr. Greg

Thank you for your generosity in last week’s Collec-

tion for the Catholic Communication Campaign. Because of your support, millions of faithful will have

the opportunity to deepen their faith through daily resources on the Internet, television, and radio, and

in print media. Remember, half of your donations

are staying in our archdiocese to support local com-munication needs. To learn more about the impor-

tant work supported by this collection, please visit www.usccb.org (search “Catholic Communication

ing your time and talents to make a difference in the lives

of these young women and their children. For more infor-

mation, please contact Kathy Milbrath at 402-829-9289
