The Wagner’s initially started coming to the Kroc Center because one of their daughter’s was participating in the Children’s Hospital HEROES program. Children’s Hospital and the Omaha Kroc Center developed a partnership and the Kroc Center hosts the fitness portion of the program twice-a-week. After having participated in the parent educa-tion sessions, the Wagner Family decided to use the time when their daughter was at the Kroc Center exercising with the program, for their own fitness training.

And then they kept coming back and branched out to find new inter-ests! Mrs. Wagner said, “its because of the variety of programs of-fered” that keeps them coming back. Shortly after joining their second daughter started taking Flamenco classes and going to the open arts

studio and both girls started taking Taekwondo together. Mom and Dad started working out on the Fitness Deck and Mom even started taking Yoga and the new POUND class! - “The Kroc is clean, the equipment is good, and most of all, the staff is friendly and helpful.”

At the Kroc Center we often hear how people visit us for one thing, perhaps Zumba® or Swim Lessons, but then discover that we offer so much more. How about you, do you have a Kroc Center “branching out” story? We’d love to hear it! Share your # Branching Out Story on the Kroc Center Facebook page or share on your social media pages and tag OmahaKroc. One story will be selected at random to win Kroc Merchandise!

At The Salvation Army Kroc Center, people are inspired to discover their God given talents and develop their potential through artistic, educational, physical and spiritual experiences in a Christ-centered atmosphere. For more info please visit www.OmahaKroc.org.

We are currently working on improvements to our public WiFi capacity. When we go live with the new system, we will add a requirement for a password to access the WiFi - “Jesussaves”. The WiFi will still be free to access and available to anyone at the Kroc Center. Stay tuned, the Welcome Desk and Member Information Board will announce when we go live with this new process.
