COURSE LIMITATIONS
The minimum number ofparticipants – 2 persons
Target groupThe course has been designed for candidates who have completed ECDIS generic training
and now require equipment specific training.
The following manufacturers of type-specific equipment available on-board ship:• TRANSAS Navi-Sailor• Kelvin Hughes
Duration and priceof the training course.
The duration of the ECDIS type-specific training course is 2 days,price – 350 Eur/pers.
INCOME REQUIREMENTS
TRAINING APPROACHESAND EQUIPMENT
During training course theoretical lessons are given using PowerPoint presentations, practical tasks are conducted on Transas NT Pro 5000 ECDIS simulator with the latest software version installed.
To be assigned on ECDIS type-specific training course, participant or Company should send copies of the following documents:• national passport,• seamen’s book,• ECDIS Generic training course certificate.

The objective of the course: to comply with regulation I/14, paragraph 1.5 of the STCW Convention, as well as sections 6.3 and 6.5 of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, requires companies to ensure seafarers are provided with familiarization training.
