Students study pre-requirement courses during their first 2 years, before transferring to a new school to begin their major. On Campus Plus leads to 100’s of majors in the California system.
• The California higher education system is designed to facilitate easy transfer from one institution to another. Every institution has articulation agreements that recognize credits and grades from other schools. They have staff designated to manage the transfer process.
• Students spend the first two years studying pre-requirement courses. They then transfer their grades and credits to study a major.
• Over 30,000 students a year transfer into the UC system alone.
• Marymount offers hundreds of courses that fulfill the pre-requirements for study at UC, CSU and private universities in California.
Admissions Criteria Every school and department in the system has its own admissions criteria, which varies depending on the quality and popularity of the program.
The key factors for admittance are the courses studied and GPA gained during your first two years of study. Your Progression Advisor at Marymount will advise you how and when to apply.
