GENERAL NOTES

Situation Manor Farm lies close to the M42 junction 11 near Tamworth and has good road access via the B5493 Tamworth/No Mans Heath Road. From the M42/A444 interchange (junction 11) pick up the B5493 towards Seckington and No Man’s Heath. Travel straight through the village of No Man’s Heath and after ¾ mile turn left signposted Newton Regis into Kings Lane. Continue into the village to the T-junction and turn left signposted Austrey. Continue past the primary school on the right and out of the village with the sale field lying third field on the right after the houses. From Tamworth pick up the B5493 towards Seckington, No Man’s Heath and Measham and continue along that road for approximately 6 miles. After the junction for Seckington turn right at the next junction into Kings Lane signposted Newton Regis. Continue on and follow the detailed road directions above.

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Friday 28th July 2017. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. FOREWORD

The genuine dispersal sale at Manor Farm arises as a result of the retirement of Mr Stuart Wilson whose family have farmed in the village of Newton Regis since 1929. The tenancy has now ended and many will know that Mr Wilson gave up active dairy farming at Christmas 2015 and has actually sold the last of his in calf dairy heifers in recent months. This now brings about the genuine dispersal of the machinery from the farm which includes a good range of tractors and New Holland Combine together with all the associated arable and grassland items and other effects. Mr Wilson and his landlord have also teamed together to sell a full range of in situ steel framed buildings, a breakdown of these are included at the rear of the catalogue. Perusal of the catalogue document will reveal that several local vendors have included items in the sale and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine event.
