Sydney Harbour will come alive this Australia Day as large crowds gather around Circular Quay, Dawes Point, The Rocks and other vantage points to witness the activities on and above the water.

FERRYTHON (10.45AM–11.30AM)

See our beloved ferries in this hugely popular Australia Day tradition, as they voyage from Barangaroo Wharf to Shark Island and then back to a glorious finish at the Sydney Harbour Bridge. SALUTE TO AUSTRALIA (11.30AM–12.05PM)

The Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian Air Force combine to deliver a stirring military ceremony. The event features HMAS Canberra on the water, a 21-gun salute on land and RAAF fast jets flying in formation above Sydney Harbour. Join Australians young and old to hear the Governor’s Address and to sing our national anthem. TUG AND YACHT BALLET (12.05PM–12.15PM)

Watch a graceful company of yachts, tugboats, jet-skis and ferries glide in precision across the water, accompanied by helicopters above, in an epic piece of musical magic.
