*Unison Gathering Prayer

One body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

one God and Parent of all, who is above all and through all and in all,

as we gather to worship, take this patchwork collection of persons

and quilt together your church. Like old pieces of cloth,

take these words and songs and prayers, take our thoughts and inner hungers,

and join them all together into a new and living fabric— the purpose of which is to cover and color your world

(or at least our corner of it) with grace and love. In Christ. Amen.

*Sharing of Christ’s Peace As Christ Jesus has shared his peace with each of us, let us now share that

peace with each other.

Liturgist: May the peace of the Lord be with you. All: And also with you.

*You are invited to share with your neighbor a sign of Christ’s peace.

Sharing of Joys and Concerns As we prepare for a time of prayer, please pass your Prayer Cards to the

center aisle to be collected.

Offertory Prayer

Almighty Giver of All Good Gifts: Grow in us the wisdom to

know that all we have to give is in our hands only because

you have given to us first.

Remind us that you have called us in Christ to be gentle,

patient, and loving – and at one with your children

everywhere. May the gifts we have been given and the gifts

we share reflect the debt of our gratitude for your many

blessings. We pray this in the holy name of Jesus, our

Lord and Savior. Amen.
