ONE DOOR CLOSES…TWO OTHER DOORS

OPEN

As many of you already know our Children and Youth

Minister, Lynn Gibson, will be leaving us in June of this

year to join her husband Carey in retirement.

Sadly these next two months will find us saying

“goodbye” to Lynn and all her gifts and graces. We

will especially miss her compassionate heart for our

children and youth and their families.

Yet…however…moreover…God continues to send us

young families, young children, growing youth, and

new babies. The future of this congregation is excit-

ing as we consider all the opportunities for ministry

that are ours.

The Staff-Parish Relations Committee of our congrega-

tion is already advertising two positions: one for Chil-

dren’s Minister and one for Youth Minister through lo-

cal papers, college and university Campus Ministries,

and word of mouth.

Will you help us find the people God wants to lead

our Children and Youth?

Continue to pray!

Speak to those you believe would be good leaders!

Pray!

Talk to SPR Chair Susan Gieler or to me!

Pray!

Peace and grace to you as we celebrate our

future!

~David
