Interfaces to SONY FCB Cameras and supported standards

SD-SDISD-SDI interfaces support the SMPTE 259 standard. Both, the 480i (NTSC) and 576i (PAL) formats are supported.

HD-SDIHD-SDI interfaces support the SMPTE 292 standard. Both, the 720p and 1080i formats are supported.

DVI / HDMIAIVION DVI and HDMI interfaces support 720p and 1080i formats.

USB 2.0USB2.0 interfaces support uncompressed SD video standards (PAL and NTSC).

USB 3.0Due to the increased data bandwidth the USB 3.0 interfaces allow the support of uncompressed HD video standards.

Transmitting uncompressed video data over long distances?

AIVION offers interfaces and converters to transmit uncompressed video signals over long distances. In many situations the maximal cable length of USB, DVI or HDMI is not sufficient and other standards are needed. To support the different requirements AIVION offers mixed standard modules that combine different standards.

AIVION TL 2740 USB 2.0 and SD-SDI interfaceThis mixed standard module combines the advantages of an USB 2.0 interface (combined cable for video data and camera control, directly attachable to PC without frame grabber) with the long distance range of the SD-SDI standard (up to 300m).

AIVION TL 6050 HDMI and HD-SDI interfaceThis mixed standard module combines the advantages of a HDMI interface (common standard for low price monitors, TVs) with the long distance range of the HD-SDI standard (up to 100m).

AIVION TL 6070 interface and Nano Converter SeriesOur TL 6070 interface allows direct video transmission from Sony FCB HD cameras over fiber optic cables. This enables uncompressed video data transmission over several kilometers. For HD-SDI cameras we also offer converters between HD-SDI and fiber and from fiber to HD-SDI.

To connect HDMI equipment to the HD-SDI world and vice versa, our nano converter products are available.
