One typical day in Reformed

Secondary School in Szentendre

Mornings Every Monday morning

we spend our time in the Chapel and there, we have a service, and the head of the school announces the most important pieces of information.

In the other mornings we begin our day with a 15 minutes morning prayer led by a teacher.

Lessons The following lessons:

Maths, History, Literature, Language(English, French, German), Arts, Religious education, PE and Dance.

Typical Wednesday The school starts at 7:45. After

the mornings prayer we have our first lesson. This is IT, where we use the computers. Our school have 2 computer rooms.

In the second lesson we learn Literature.

The next lesson and 6th and 7th: English or German. We learn in the special class, where we have 13 language lessons in the week. We don’t learn natural science. We have facilities learn different language. For instance: English, German, French and Latin. Some teachers organize projekt, for example: this, „Dutch - Middelharnis Good Food projekt”, „Singen und Deutsch sprechen” projekt.

The next lesson is the religious education. We talk with the teacher from the life big question.

The 5th lesson is History and the teacher is our form-master.

The 8th lesson is Dance. We learn folk dance, waltz dance and cha-cha-cha.

Breaks We have 10 minutes

breaks and 20 minutes breaks when we have lunch.

Every lesson takes 45 minute. On avarage we have 7 lessons a day.

After school activities Choir Sport groups Art groups Language groups Drama groups

Uniforms We wear shortsleeve

shirt (this usually blue or red). This special is different for boys and girls.

In the celebrations we wear black and white uniform.

Classrooms Every classrooms have

one electronic board, and we often use it.

Most often we do exercises, watch film and listen to music.

We like it. In our opinion, this helps us and makes our learning more colourful.
