If you are interested in the job, apply by clicking on the

“Register and Apply” button.

If you are using our e-Recruiting system for the first time, please read our information on data

privacy. You will not be able to use our system without having actively consented to the data

privacy policy.

You can now save your data and will subsequently access an Application Wizard assistant

which will support you in creating your application. Simultaneously, you will receive an email

with your access data for later editing of your candidate profile. In case that you have already

registered your profile in our candidate pool, you may go directly to your profile.

enter different types of data.

Use Resume Upload

After you have registered on the Denbury job applications website it’s easy to enter your

personal data easily by uploading your resume. The data on your resume will be captured from

the resume (to a large extent) and transferred automatically into the “Personal Data”,

“Education/Training” and “Work Experience” fields in the Application Wizard.

To upload your resume: 1) Save your resume as an electronic file on your computer as a .doc , .pdf or .rtf. 2) Click browse to find the file on your computer 3) Once your resume file appears in the File: box, click upload and then click next step

Please note: The “Upload” Software reads your resume and automatically completes specific fields in your profile. As the software may not be able to interpret 100 % of your data, please verify, correct and add information chronologically from most recent to oldest in the Application Wizard as necessary. The following file formats are accepted for Resume Parsing: - Doc(x)

- PDF

- Rtf

- Image documents (scanned). Please note files that cannot be parsed include:

1) Make sure there is a resume saved

to your computer.

2) Use the browse function to find

the resume.

3) Click upload and move to the next

step.

- Resumes in table or column format - Any resume that uses a template

Resumes in Text files (.TXT) or compressed files (.ZIP) cannot be uploaded. If the “upload” result does not meet your expectations, you may upload a different version of your resume. You can also click “Next Step” to continue to the Application Wizard and enter your data manually.

Personal Data

This is where you can edit your personal data. Your email address and name have already been

initialized from your registration. Click forward to the next step and your entries are saved.

Important: We will generally contact you via email and phone. Therefore, please make sure

that your email address and phone numbers are listed correctly.

In this section, you may enter your education, training, certifications and/or further personal

development in detail. Where applicable

Work Experience

We request that you list a minimum of the last 3 employers or the last 10 years of employment. Providing as much information as possible assists in our screening process, specifically:

- Dates of employment - Description of work performed - Reason for leaving - Ending annual salary

You will be asked a series of questions that will be displayed. These questions have been compiled by the Denbury Staffing Team and the functional (hiring) department to provide targeted application and job-specific information.

Cover Letter

Please select a choice from the drop down menu to show “How you heard about this job” in the Application Source Type and Application Source. If you are referred by a Denbury Resources employee, please note that information in this step. You may copy and paste the contents of your cover letter or reasons that make you the best fit for this specific job in the box below.

Complete Application

Using the Data Overview, you may check your information once more before submittal and

return to any previous step to edit. It is a required step to read and accept the Verification

Document. Acceptance of this Employment Verification Document assures that the information

that you have provided on your Employment Application is in fact accurate and truthful.

Your application has been successfully accepted by the system when you see following

message below. You can now close that screen.

A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address within a few minutes of receiving your application. The Staffing Team will have access to your application immediately upon this acknowledgement of a successful submission.

Edit Your Candidate Profile You can review and/or edit your candidate profile at any time after you create it. To access your candidate profile, enter your user name and password. (Your User ID and password were sent to you by email following your entry into the system or you selected your own User Id and password.) You may now edit your profile, for example to add further details concerning in the education and work experiences. Changing the User ID

You may change your User ID, but we highly suggest that you use your email address as your User ID. Editing the Profile Data

Using the application process described previously in this document, you may change or edit your profile data here. The changes will become automatically available for the next application. Note: Modifications in your candidate profile will also be displayed in your existing active applications. In addition, you may also add further details regarding your training, professional experience or qualifications. Preferences

You may specify criteria which you consider necessary or desirable in the future job you are looking for (e.g. stating a specific region). Please document in the field “further information” any specifics that you wish to share. The Staffing Team takes these criteria into account when searching in the Denbury Candidate Pool.

The Denbury Candidate Pool

When applying to Denbury Resources for the first time, you register and an individual candidate profile is set up by you. This candidate profile contains the data relevant for the application, so you may be able to use them for future applications. Other functionalities are also available to you, such as a status report of all applications, automatic messaging and different possibilities for the job search. Your profile may also be found in an active search conducted by the Staffing department. We use these searches to find profiles that may meet the needs of new or existing openings. If we determine that your profile is a tentative match, we will contact you and ask you to apply for a particular position. Please remember, you are not being considered for a particular job until you apply for that job. We encourage you to use the job search agent to notify you of jobs that you may be interested in.

Check Out Other Functions and General Information Our system makes more convenient functions available to you once you are registered. Log back into the system by using the system generated User ID and Password and immediately change both. We highly suggest that you use your email address as your User ID going forward.

Search by Jobs

There a several options to search for interesting jobs. You can click on the link “job search” and find the right job for you by selecting certain listed criteria. Keep the “Ctrl” key pressed to highlight more than one criterion. Alternatively, you can search additional job postings you might be interested in by using the free text search field by entering key words which are linked to the job you are interested in. Search results will be displayed in a result list. It also contains more detailed information on a specific job and allows you to apply directly for it. You may also save your search by specific search criteria and use it at a later date (active search). Please also note our FAQs on the internet page for information in detail concerning

the job search. Besides, you get further information via the link on the right hand side of the job search. Search by Reference Code

The reference code is displayed in the job advertisement and may also be used for searching. With the link “Search by Reference Code” after entering the reference code you find the corresponding job advertisement.

Status of Your Applications

You may review all of your applications with the link “My Applications”. The current status of the application and date of application will also be displayed. The candidate status will inform you of the current status of the application:

In draft: You have not completed your application. Return to the job application and complete all steps to be considered for the position. While your application is in the status of “in draft”, the Staffing Team cannot access your incomplete application. You will not be considered an applicant for the staffing for this job until you complete the application. Also, please make sure that the job posting publication is still valid.

- In process: Your application is being processed by the Staffing Team or may

have been referred to the functional (hiring) department.

- Not selected: Your application is no longer be considered for this particular job opening.

- Withdrawn: You have withdrawn your application. It will not be given further consideration.

- Closed: Unfortunately, we cannot consider your application for the staffing of this position.

Withdrawal from Consideration

If you no longer want to be considered for a job, click on My Applications and choose the job(s) that you wish to remove yourself from. Click the Delete/Withdrawn button to confirm.

Favorites

After a job search, you can tag interesting jobs in the result list as favorites. These favorites can later be easily called up with the link “favorites”; you can check them again and apply if you wish.

Job Agent

You can also generate a job agent with criteria defined in the job search, which will inform you at regular intervals by email of any new positions published. For this purpose you can select different search criteria and the frequency of messages (daily, weekly, monthly). Please note when selecting the search criteria for the job agent that the number of job agents you can generate is limited to five.

If you experience technical difficulties, please ensure your computer meets the Browser Specifications required by this system. If you are still unable to complete your application, please go to your Toolbar, select 'Tools', 'Internet Options', and 'Delete your Cookies'. Then try again to submit your application.

What Documents And Information Are Needed To Apply?

A resume is the most important. Good to have is supplemental information that adds important data and facts (including references, grades, certificates) giving information on you personally, your career (professional and training/schooling) and your qualifications. Other good to have information includes statements regarding your motivation that may be entered in the free text box. You may also add attachments to your online application and profile.

How Long Does It Take To Apply?

The first time, it will take you about 15 – 20 minutes to enter all data if you have all of your employment dates easily available. Once you have your data entered, applying for a specific job will only take minutes, since most of the data is already saved in your on line profile. When Can I Expect A Feedback Concerning My Application?

When you submit your application, you will receive an email confirmation after a few minutes. After your application has been received, you may be contacted by our Staffing Team within 3-12 weeks should your skills, qualifications, and previous relevant work experience best meet our staffing needs. You can also check the status of your application by clicking on your candidate profile and then choosing “My Applications”. When a job position has been filled, an email is sent to all applicants with notification of the particular job status changing to closed.
