Online Social Network Together Through the Valley

The initiative Together Through the Valley is calling all social organizations from theValley for an alliance to establish the online community network Together Through the

Valley.

This community social network will contain information about all the participating socialorganizations and, as main feature, this online network will offer several chat rooms with live connection with social organizations in order to let the community get liveguidance about social issues.

Also the website will offer the following features:

o Social Zone: People may find growth opportunities offered by participant socialorganizations as well as its public activities. Also, the community may use thisforum to submit social initiatives to participant social organizations.

o Social Contests: Three creative social contests will be organized twice in a year to involve young people from our community with our social organizations; thosecontests are the Film Festival, “Creativity with Cause”, the Radio Festival,“Voices with Cause”, and the writing contest, “Initiatives with Cause”.

o Education Forum: This website also will offer information about local colleges,universities, financial aid, and scholarships.

Project FAQ’S

How much will cost the development of the online social network Together Through

the Valley?

The cost will be $0. The Online Community Network Together Through the Valley is based upon free services, which means that there are no charges for the development of the social network Together Through the Valley.

How much will cost the maintenance of the social network Together Through the

Valley?

The Cost will be $0. I, the developer, will provide maintenance to the web site for a trial period of six months.

How much will cost the three social contests organized twice in a year?

The annual cost will be $3,000 (1,500 each six months.) Among other prizes, eachsocial contest will offer a unique prize of $500 in cash for the winner of each contest.Please read page 9.

How the social contests will be financed?

The $3,000 needed to finance the three social contests will be divided between the participant social organizations.

In order to cover the resulted amount, each participating social organization will form ateam with three sponsors of their choice. Then, the four parties, as a team, will cover theresulted amount in equal parts. See page 10

What will happens after the trial period?

Successful Scenario: Participant social organizations must provide maintenance to theSocial Network Together Through the Valley.

Social Organizations are responsible for updating the website with current information.Every month a different social organization will provide maintenance to the website.

Failure Scenario: The website Together Through the Valley will be closed.

Social Contests Zone

Three social contests will be incorporated to the online community network Together

Through the Valley; the Film Festival, “Creativity with Cause”, the radio festival,“Voices with Cause” and the initiative contest, “Words with Cause”. See how the contests

The purpose of those contests is to improve therelationship between our young students and our social organizations.

Contests’ Description:

• Film Festival "Creativity with Cause". This festival will be taken place twice ayear. People will be asked to develop a 30 second TV social advertisements dealingwith the social cause of a participating social organization.

The winner will receive $500 in cash and will receive the opportunity to submit the storyboard for the development of a real life TV commercial for some sponsor.

• Initiative Contest "Words with Cause". This contest will be taken place twice ayear. Under this contest the community will be called to submit social initiatives thatmay help social organizations to enhance its ties with the community.

The winner will receive $500 in cash and may receive support the participant social organizations to bring its initiative to the real world.

• Radio Festival "Voices with cause". This is a Radio Festival that will be taken place twice a year. People will be asked to develop a 30 second radio advertisementsdealing with the social cause a participating social organization.

The winner will receive $500 in cash and may submit a radio script for the development of a real life radio commercial for some sponsor.



Financing the social contests

Three social contests will be incorporated to the online community network Together

Through the Valley; the Film Festival, “Creativity with Cause”, the radio festival,“Voices with Cause” and the initiative contest, “Words with Cause”. These contests will

be carried out twice in a year. See Rules in appendix A.

The annual budget in prizes for the three socialcontests will be $3,000 (1,500 each six months.)This amount may be covered following thefinancial work plan described below. Please seegraphic examples in pages 7,8, and 9.

How to finance the social contests?

1) The $3,000 needed to finance the three social contests will be divided between the participant social organizations. See applied example in page 5

2) Each participating social organization will form a team with three sponsors of their choice. Then, the four parties in the team will pay the resulted amount inequal parts.

Financing the prizes for the three social contests

1) The total cost of the three contests will be $3,000 in prizes. This amount will bedivided among the number of participating social organizations.

EXAMPLE:

Let me say that there are ten social organizations backing the social contests. Then the$3,000 will be divided among those ten social organizations. This means that each socialorganization should put $300 annually to finance the three social contests.

2) To cover this amount, each participating social organization will get three sponsors to

form a team; This means that each team will be formed by four parties.

3) Now, this amount will be divided among the number of members in the team; in thiscase four.

This means that in the scenario described above, each social organization along with eachsponsor should put $75 each year in order to make possible the three social contests.
