The Holy Angel University (HAU) Library as a repository center for both print and non-print materials exists to provide varied and accessible library services in sup- port of the University’s curricular offerings/ instruconal programs towards the development of the whole person through its connuing program of enriching, upgrading and maintaining highly accessible library collecons and facilies. To provide adequate, up-to-date and relevant resources and services to the HAU community, as a means to achieve the University's goals and objecves. To support the University’s graduate & undergradu- ate programs’ instruconal, research and infor- maon needs. To develop, enrich and maintain the library collecon in terms of the course offerings and pro- grams of the University. FILIPINIANA These are materials about the Philippines regardless of authorship, housed in the Filipiniana Secon at the 2nd floor of the library and are for room use only PERIODICALS SERVICES The library subscribes to on-line foreign professional journals and local professional journals to support the instruconal needs of the programs. Other relevant pop- ular magazines and naonal daily newspaper are also available in the Periodicals Unit. Back issues of Phil. Star & Phil. Daily Inquirer are maintained in DVD format. AUDIO VISUAL SERVICES Non-print instruconal materials which are invaluable teaching and research references that supplement the printed resources are available in the library. Other non-print materials like mov- ies and newspapers in DVD format can also be availed of. INTERNET/MULTI-MEDIA SERVICES The library maintains more than 110 computer units for its internet services. These are installed and located in the following areas: Internet Workstaon, inside the Ref- erence/Filipiniana, in the Graduate School Library and in the Faculty Corner of the library. CURRENT AWARENESS SERVICES These services keep everyone up-dated on the latest acquisions/publicaons & latest developments in the library. New acquisions are displayed in the strategic places of the University. BIBLIOGRAPHIC SERVICES List of new acquisions are connuously sent to the different users through the Deans. Bibliographies are being provided by the Library on request. DEPOSITORY COUNTER Those who intend to visit the enclosed areas/units of the library are required to deposit their things except their valuables at the depository counter

DISCUSSION ROOMS To avail of the discussion rooms, reservation should be made one day before their intended use.

FACULTY CORNER Located at the 2nd floor of the library and is pro-vided with two (2) computer units w/ internet con-nections. It can accommodate 12-15 faculty at one time.

REFERRAL LETTERS Are issued to faculty and students who wish to visit other libraries for their research.

SPECIAL MATERIALS Kapampangan Collections – the collection con-

sists of books, documents and other materials about the history and culture of Pampanga.

Ambeth Ocampo’s Collection these are exclu-sive collection that can be availed of at the Kapampangan Center.

PRINTING, SCANNING and CD/DVD BURNING The Library provides laser printing, scanning and CD Burning at the Internet Workstation.

ALL library customers are subject for inspection upon leaving the library section/area visited.

Faculty can borrow a maximum of ten (10) books in the library good for two (2) weeks and should be returned on due date. Three(3) Audio Visual materials may be borrowed for three(3) days upon presentation of loads at the start of each term.
