ONLINE TRAINING & PLACEMENT

Online Training and Placement (OTP) system is an online application that will facilitates the students to register, search, and apply for jobs.

The companies and the TPO can take effective actions on the web as follow-on from the information they have viewed.

TPO will provides approval of company registration and updating. OTP will provide information on placement providers and the placements they offer so that students may view and assess their opportunities.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

LOGON CAPABILITIES:

The system shall provide the Administrators(TPO), student and company with logon capabilities. The user login shall be allowed 24 hours a day.

NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT:

Student cannot apply for more than two job vacancy.

Once student is placed he/she cannot apply for another job vacancy if the job package is not higher than the package for the job for which he/she is placed.

Student should fill their correct qualification details while entering their qualification details or else during placement he/she will be disqualified.

SAFETY & SECURITY REQUIREMENT

A backup copy of database should be kept in case the file gets deleted.

The software should be installed on the main server and all user should fill their forms.

Their will be a specific duration before which the qualification details should be filled by students.

We are using php for developing the project but we are not professional in this language.

We are not familiar with this project so we need to study about the existing system.

Project size is large which have lots of dependencies and documentation since its an overhead on each member.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

We can use the different languages for the developing purpose of front end as we can use PHP, dot net and asp, jsp .

For the data storage we can use the different databases as like SQL.
