Hey there!

Firstly on behalf of myself and the team a big hello & thanks for your interest in coming to ride with us on the Onyx Snowboard School Summer Camp. Fusing all the on snow fun of a snowboard camp with everything you love about a summer holiday. The Summer Camp is a truly unique and unforgettable experience, we have two fantastic weeks planned and can’t wait to share it with you!

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for the camp is located at:Chalet Erika58 Avenue de la MuzelleLes Deux Alpes38860 Mont-de-LansFrance

The chalet is located 2 doors down to the right from the Marche U supermarket near the centre of town, shown in the photo below.

Accommodation runs from Saturday-Saturday with check-in from 17:00 on the first day of your camp and check out by 09:00 on your last day, please keep this in mind when making your travel plans.

HOW TO GET THERE

L2A is located in the south east of France 77km (1hr 15mins drive) from Grenoble, 160Km (2hrs drive) from Lyon St Exupery Airport and 220km (2hrs 40mins drive) from Geneva airport. There are a variety of ways to reach the resort which we’ve covered below, but by far the most common being a flight to Lyon & transfer buses to resort.

PLEASE check all details fully with the relevant companies, information here is correct to the best of our knowledge but can change at any time. We cannot be held responsible for you being unable to arrive in resort in time for you course as a result of any change

to these schedules.

BY PLANETry to pick morning flights for your arrival from the UK and evening flights for your departure home, this gives you ample time to get to/from the airport.

We recommend using skyscanner to search all available flight options from your chosen airport.

BY TRAIN TO GRENOBLEFrom the UK to Grenoble:Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris Gare Nord, change to Paris Gare De Lyon (allow at least 1hr between stations and try to avoid rush hour!) and then straight to Grenoble. Travel time can be as quick as 6hrs 30mins, prices vary but can be found from £200 return.

From Geneva Airport to Grenoble:Check HERE for details. Average journey takes around 3hrs 40mins (with 1 change) and costs CHF128 return.

TRANSFER BUSESLyon St Exupery Airport - Grenoble Train StationRegular Service with Faure Vercors takes around 1hr 30mins.

Grenoble Train Station - L2AThe 3030 bus with Transisère is the only public service up to Les Deux Alpes and as such can not be booked in advance. We recommend arriving at least 30 mins prior to the departure time to buy your ticket and get in the queue. The last service leaves Grenoble at 17:50 and the journey takes 1hr 35mins.

BY CAR FROM THE UKWhile this is a pretty long journey (trust us, we’ve done it and slept in car parks along the way) it can be awesome fun if you want to make a road trip out of the Summer Camp. This form of travel becomes cost effective with 3+ people sharing and we highly recommend having multiple drivers to share the driving. It is important to make sure you have adequate insurance/break down cover to drive in Europe.

From Calais - 935km, 8hrs 45mins, Cross the channel via:

•P&O•Euro Tunnel

From Dunkirk - 940km , 9hrs. Cross the channel via:

•Norfolkline

For both these options you will have to pay French toll road charges, which can be estimated with mappy, ViaMichelin & Drive-Alive.
